WHITE 2037 TENSION ISSUE...

Okie Dokie..... Here's the way I see it.. The repair center was of little or no help to you . So, I will try to do my best..
First thing you need to do is unthread your machine and set the tension to 4.. Rethread the machine up to just before the needle.
When you get that far, put the presser foot down. If your thread pulls right thru easily, it is not threaded thru the tension wheel right. It your thread is hard to pull thru with the presser foot down, then it is threaded right.

General rule of thumb..
Loops on the bottom-- problem on the top
loops on the top--- problem on the bottom.
Hope this helps..

White 2037 twin needle keeps breaking thread

Thread breakage occurs commonly with mis-threading. Be sure to ALWAYS RAISE the presser foot when threading the top thread. Also, since you are using 2 threads, thread one completely and then thread the other so the threads do not get twisted in the thread path. If your machine has duel tension disks, thread each tension disk separately with a single thread. Setting the thread spools to turn opposite directions may help. Also, make sure the needle eye is the right size for the thread. Thick or thin thread could break easily in the wrong needle. Also, use only good quality thread--no bargain bin or old threads! twin needle thread breakage Google Search

Sewing machine

remove the cover over the bobbin section so that you can see the needle bobbin carrier interaction now turn the machine over by hand and watch the needle go down and start to come up at this point the hook of the bobbin carrier should be very close to the needle just above the eye of the needle It is at this point the the needle thread is picked up and run around the bobbin carrier to link up with the bobbin thread if it is not there then take it in for an adjustment as the adjustment is done by loosening off the clamp on the vertical bar at the end of the machine that moves the needle up and down and positioning the needle in the position described if the needle is hitting the bobbin and the timing is correct , replace the needle as it may be bent or not in properly

I have a sewing machine. When I try to use it, the bobbin thread bunches up into a mess and stops the cloth from advancing. HOW do I solve this problem?

Sounds like what is normally referred to as "bird nesting" or thread nesting which is essentially caused, in the majority of cases, by incorrect threading. Advise your wife to always raise the presser foot when threading the machine. This releases the tension disk so the thread will seat properly. If the thread is not seated in the tension disk, the upper thread will loop and knot under the fabric causing "birds nests"--an ugly mess of thread! Be sure to install new needles frequently. A bent, dull, or nicked needle will be the cause of many frustrations. Also, avoid old or bargain bin thread. And use the proper needle for the thread and fabric of the project. https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=2&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=0ahUKEwij4crWxcnMAhVN9GMKHbZdBGYQFggjMAE&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.schmetzneedles.com%2Flearning%2Fpdf%2Fschmetz-needle-chart.pdf&usg=AFQjCNHTR52AmqwzvyCjbXmD5Ch52Va5_Q The correct tension has been achieved when the upper thread and bobbin thread meet in the middle of the fabric. The starting point is usually the midway point between high & low tension number, and then testing and tweaking. This does not mean, however, that the tension needed for corduroy fabric will work on silk. There is usually some tweaking involved with every project, ie needle size & type, thread weight & material, type of fabric (heavy, light, knit, woven, etc.) ...

The bobbin thread will not

check your needle to see if it's bent---roll on flat surface to see if it roll correctly
on some sewing machines when the thread comes off the thread take up lever it can cause the machine to jam
also if the bobbin thread becomes tangled it can jam
check the bobbin area for lint or loose threads
try having a top thread tail & bobbin thread tail of 3-4 inches
try holding the top thread tail & turn the handwheel on the right side on the machine manually & put the needle down into the bobbin area & see if the bobbin thread will pick up that way

My bobbin is not turning with the bobbin shuttle. It isn't being picked up by the needle.

Check your owner's manual. Most sewing machines, the bobbin turns clockwise as you look at the back of the bobbin case. Although your machine may be different. Also, make sure your bobbin case is firmly seated in the hook and it is latched in place. Sometimes, if it is not firmly latched, it will not turn as you sew.
