Needle doesn't move the problem isn't the foot pedal
I have a Husqvarna #1 that I also love. My needle stopped moving too. I was convinced it was the foot peddle but a repair person sais it was not. I discovered on my own that indeed it is the cord on the foot peddle. I suspect it has a loose wire because when I wiggle it where it connects to the machine it starts working again. Right now this is what I have to do because I can't find a replacement peddle. Can anybody help me find one?
Cannot activate Dongle H0031
I am having the same problem with Premier+. The dongle is activated, and the activation code shows up in the software registration linked to the HASP key, but when I open the software I get the error message H0031. I tried to activate the dongle again using the activation code in Premier Configure, and it seemed to work, but still I have the same issue in the program. I am using Windows 10 and hoping to hook it up to my Husqvarna Designer SE soon ! Very frustrating. The light on the dongle is solid red. I have tried removing the drivers and reinstalling, and tried both the drivers from Premier+ and also SafeNet (which are more current). Same issue with both

Huskies are the Best! Please remove the feeder plate - under the needle, and look for any fabric still jammed. Remove any way you can - small screwdriver, nail-file. (It will take removing a small screw or two.) Unless you find metal parts, broken bits, you did not break anything. Removing bunched fabric should do it.
On the other hand, if you do find broken parts - Viking is Amazing! They can machine broken parts of sewing machines and guns, back before 1900! Love them! Just remove any parts related to where fabric cound be jammed, remove all you find, and try again.

Yes, these parts should be replaced. Original parts are only available from an authorized Husqvarna Viking Dealer. The service/repair is very intense and should be performed by a certified Husqvarna Viking service technician through the Dealer. You can find the nearest dealer by click on the "Dealer" link at

Repair manuals are available only to Husqvarna Viking authorized dealers. However, I have seen some on ebay from time to time. Sounds like your problem could be several things - binding of the internal drive shaft which may have a build up of grease and lint which unbinds as you sew, could be a faulty motor, or faulty transformer. Suggest that it be serviced and cleaned by an authorized Husqvarna Viking Dealer. You can find the nearest dealer by click on the "Dealer" link at

Hi! You can find manuals for Husqvarna Viking sewing machines at http://sewingpartsonline.com/viking-sewing-machine-instruction-manuals.aspx. Another place to look for an instruction manual for your machine is http://www.sewconsult.com/husqvarna/husqvarna_instruction_manuals.htm. I didn't find anything about replacement instruction manuals on Husqvarna Viking's website--BUT they have a neat feature called The Sewing Room that offers how-to-sew instructions. You can also take a look at my Hints and Tips about threading your machine.

Husqvarna Sapphire - thread cutter not working
Does the metal arm come out to grab the threads to cut it? Is there a blade in the metal arm that cuts the tread? I think a standard utility knife cutter blade is the same size (just like the one that cuts the bobbin thread when you put in a new bobbin). What happens when you activate the cutter is the arm comes out, grabs the threads, brings them to the blade which cuts the threads, the velcro by the cutter holds the bobbin thread in place for the next stitch. Otherwise the thread may end up on top and the top thread would not be able to pick it up for the next stitch.
Good luck.
