I just bought Panasonic BD60 bluray and the seller

Hello,

is the player a brand new one or a fairly used player. The TV you are using also can cause the problem. If the TV is not a very recent TV, it won't show color because of incompatibility. I have seen a lot cases where player shows does not show color on the TV because the player and the TV are not compatible.

So, I would suggest that you first test the player with another TV be sure if the problems is as a result of incompatibility or not.

But which ever the case maybe, you still have to return the player back to the seller because you are not enjoying or not satisfied with what you bought with your money. But still test the player with another TV to me more sure whether its incompatibility problems.

Lastly, take the player back to the seller and take another player that will work satisfactorily with your TV, so that you can enjoy the value of your money.

Good luck.

Just bought a dmp-bd60 when

Hello,

the u73 is an error code. Since you just bought the player, I would advice that you return the player back to where you bought it from and replace it with another.

But if you don't want to return the player, or if its not under warranty, you can download the latest firmware update of the player from the internet, then install it on the player as this might clear the error.

But to save you all this stress and considering the fact that its a new one, it would be better you returned and replace the player with another that doesn't have an error code.

Good luck.

Need codes for all regions on Panasonic DMP-BD60

Hi, I don't think there are any codes, it has to be modified by inserting a chip, and unless you know about electronics or soldering, I would either find a friend or take it to a competent repair shop, because if it is done wrong , you will have a bricked dvd player.
Here is a link that shows you what to do.
http://www.avforums.com/forums/blu-ray-players/1007948-how-make-your-panasonic-bd60-bd80-blu-ray-player-multiregion.html

Please read it carefully.

I think this is the only way.

I hope this helps you, let me know.

Player stops during movie or will not start

hello,
the reason the dvd stops a movie while watching or doesn't play at all is that the lens is already weak.

the best advice is to replace the lens.

you can take it to an expert for repairs or fix it yourself.

to fix it yourself, you will have to get a compatible replacement lens, then try to unscrew the dvd player, carefully disconnect the components to locate the lens, try not to damage any part of it while doing this, the remove the old lens and carefully fix the new one.

couple it back together then try a cd on it. if you cant do it yourself, then take it to an expert.

goodluck.

Panasonic hds700tds playing audio no videos

  1. Check the Input Source: Make sure you have selected the correct input source on your TV for the device you are using. Use the remote control to cycle through the input options until you find the one connected to your video source.
  2. Check Video Connections: Ensure that all video cables (such as HDMI, component, or composite cables) are securely connected between your TV and the device you are trying to watch content from. A loose or faulty cable connection could result in a loss of video signal.
  3. Restart the TV and Video Source: Try restarting both your TV and the device you are trying to watch content from. Power off both devices, wait a few moments, and then power them back on. This can sometimes resolve temporary glitches or issues with the video signal.
  4. Check for Software Updates: Make sure your TV's firmware is up-to-date. Sometimes software updates can resolve compatibility issues or bugs that may be affecting video playback. Check the settings menu on your TV for an option to update the firmware, or visit the manufacturer's website for instructions on how to do so.
  5. Reset Video Settings: If you've made any changes to your TV's video settings, such as resolution or picture mode, try resetting them to their default values. This can sometimes resolve issues with video playback.
  6. Try a Different Device: If possible, try connecting a different device (such as a DVD player or gaming console) to your TV to see if the issue persists. This can help determine whether the problem lies with the TV itself or with the original device you were using.
  7. Contact Panasonic Support: If none of the above steps resolve the issue, it's possible there may be a hardware problem with your TV. In this case, you may need to contact Panasonic customer support for further assistance or to schedule a repair.

I have a Panasonic 50-in flat screen TV a storm came by and knocked out my TV and my Yukon no breaker was off so did it come through the antenna please help

  1. Check the Power Cord: Ensure that the power cord is securely plugged into both the TV and the power outlet. Make sure there are no visible signs of damage to the power cord or the plug.
  2. Inspect the Power Outlet: Try plugging another electronic device (such as a lamp or a phone charger) into the same outlet to verify if it is functioning properly. If other devices work fine, then the issue is likely not with the power outlet.
  3. Check for Tripped Circuit Breakers: Check your circuit breaker or fuse box to see if a circuit breaker has been tripped or a fuse blown. If so, reset the circuit breaker or replace the fuse and try plugging in your TV again.
  4. Test with Different Power Source: If possible, try plugging your TV into a different power source altogether, such as a different room or building. This will help determine if the issue is specific to the power source you were previously using.
  5. Contact Panasonic Support: If none of the above steps resolve the issue and your TV still does not power on, it's likely that there is a hardware problem with the TV itself. In this case, you may need to contact Panasonic customer support for further assistance or to arrange for repairs. Be sure to provide them with details of the troubleshooting steps you've already taken.
Hope this helps
