After inserting a disc and displaying READ, it comes up saying NO DISC and doesn't play. What do I need to do to fix?

You can check on this for more solutions and details: How to fix a DVD "No disc" error (3 solutions) If you can't solve this, you can also download a free Blu-ray player program which can be an alternative to it, such as Leawo Blu-ray Player

Have you tried upgrading the firmware to the latest? I had a similar problem and this fixed it. If you don't have your player connected to the internet you can download the firmware and burn it to a CD then insert the CD into your player. Here is the place you can download it: http://www2.panasonic.com/consumer-electronics/support/Video/Blu-ray-Disc-Players/Drivers-Downloads/model.DMP-BD60K.D#ts

My remote won't work for my DMP-BD75

If both the remote (which can be tested by a shop for free) AND the front buttons do not work I suspect the unit may have a lock out that disables everything on both except for on off..........

Panasonic bd 60 plays standard

You might have to update the firmware on it. This usually involves connecting the Player to the internet though your home network, and then in menu go to update. Best buy can do this for a fee if having trouble.
