If you are talking about the power button :
You should not get voltage out of the switch it should read a short to ground when the button is pushed as the resistance it measures to ground tells the micro which button is pressed.
You more than likely have a fialed button assy, which is common because the buttons get pressed when it is set on a hard surface ( i have to admit i have broken a button on this set before)
It can be hard to change the buttons because on mine i had to remove the front cover to change them.
I could not find the part number for the button assy/keypad assy but the button is easy to change just 2-4 pins to unsolder and resolder, if you dont want to order the button you could just steal the volume or channel button and replace those later.
