There is no sound on my insignia flat screen what do I do
Try hooking up the powered PC speakers to the AUDIO Line out RCA jacks to see if you get the sound there, if you do, then the problem can be in the power amp section (make sure to check the on screen sound setup menu that the speakers are not set to OFF), if no sound at the RCA jacks either, then the problem can be in the sound processor circuit in the main board.

Tv does not work since everything has gone digital
You have to use a digital adapter box for your TV. The government was subsidizing these boxes to citizens who did not have some sort of cable service. You can pick one up from the store for about $40. Connect your antennae to this box and then this box to your tv. Antennae--->box--->TV. The box will adapt the local stations in your area that are now being broadcast in digital form to your TV. Hope this helps.

does the light stay or blinking and how about the screen display totally black or a white screen. you can see in a dark room if their is a white screen. if totally black screen then with sound the cause is could be bad inverter board or screen back light. if a white screen it was the t-con board not working good.

The back of the tv gets hot
It is OK. This is not a fault. Heat will be generated when an LCD TV works. This is common for all brands. It is not a fault.
