Video is different from HDMI. From what I have seen you should have video inputs and component inputs. instead of trying these video inputs, look for tv/component button on your remote or tv settings.

Are you certain of the connection? Sometimes the connector becomes loose or otherwise loses integrity. Maybe it's the cable (HDMI, right?)--or both the TV's connector and that. They may become worn. Be careful with your LCD screen--they are more delicate than most people realize.....

Good afternoon; I just buy a toshiba 17MB16P-2 TV without manual; when I switch it on it just gives me a message of welcome and tells me that there is no signal; I don"t know what to do. Power supply is the suspect on this one. You will have to isolate the power supply in the unit and check the voltages on the input and the output side to verify it is or is not the problem.

Your main power board located in the center where your power cord will plug into is going bad, actually it's just a relay. I have the same problem, tv works for hours til relay overheats, then tv shuts off and tries to restart, hence the clicking and the 3 green flashes, mine will actually restart after 15-30 minutes. search online for the board, ranges anywhere from 150-280. I haven't found anyone to sell just the relay. I am trying tv with rear panel removed and cover removed from relay to see if relay will not malfunction? Board is a simple plug and play, just remember to have the tv unplugged.... you can actually remove the rear panel while on it's stand, just don't remove the screws holding the base onto the tv.Good luck!

This sounds like what may be causing it is the cable going from the tv to the receiver box. If it is only happening on the sat channels, you know that it's not the tv. I would replace the cable, if that does not work, then it may be that the receiver needs to be replaced.
