Easiest would be to import to mac set the phone settings to manually sync then add all you want and will not have to worry about erasing what is on the phone

Have you looked at activity monitor when this happens? perhaps restating the app from here will be better option than reboot

When you register the Kindle on you Macbook, all your books will appear in your library.

Go into Photo Booth Red 4 pictured looking app like the photo attached! If you cannot find it, go to the top right hand corner and search for it. Now that you have photo booth open, you will need to make sure the green light of you mac camera turns on when the app opens, (running other photographic programs in the background or webcam sites will stop your camera until closed) and out of the bottom row of buttons/options on the app (second picture) you will need to click on the 3rd button on the left, the two separated frames, and once you have done that the red button will turn to a videocamera instead of a normal one, and you can begin recording videos on your mac with special effects, etc. :)

If this is the 2009 model with the DVD/CD drive, then you can add up to 8GB of RAM and a much larger hard drive. I have seen drives up to 1.5 TB, and they were not expensive (just over $100). Just search for an online retailer (or go to a local Apple service center) that specializes in upgrades for older MacBooks. You may need a special set of tools, and you can also buy a kit that will allow you to use your old hard drive as an external drive (but make sure you back everything up BEFORE you start to swap drives).

Have a tech look at it. You may need to reinstall the operating system.

At times, the boot-up is slow and the computer is slow/sluggish because the disk is not "clean" or there's a shortage of storage space remaining. If you have already tried using the Disk Utilities and/or other tools (e.g. Onyx) to fix/clean up the disk, and it still doesn't make any difference, and you still have a good amount of disk space remaining, and all your memory (RAM) is still working, there may be something else going on ... e.g. another process taking place behind the scene (e.g. downloads/uploads) and using lots of resources.

Its very rare a mac has sound problems. Some earphones consume batteries, does yours have batteries in it? and is it powered on while connecting? With the earphones connected, check system volume and increase the sound while playing music. If there is sound coming from the mac itself then there maybe an issue with the AUX connection. Possible dust blocking the port. Clean it and try again. If there is no sound coming from the mac itself while the earphones are connected, then the AUX port is connected to the earphones and is in good working condition. Increase the volume on both devices, the mac and the earphones, if it has this feature. If there is still no sound, there may be a problem with the earphones itself. Possibly bad wires already, connect the earphones to other devices and listen for sound. If still no sound, replace earphones.

Put the installation cd in your drive, and boot while holding down the C keythen open up "Disk Utility", and choose repair permissions

Hi Matt The socket is both Input and Output. I don't know how it works out what to do but it does. If you are wanting to use a chat service or skype, then use the built-ib mic, it's more than adequate.
