CODE F 2

“F02” is a Long Drain error. If the drain time exceeds 8 minutes this error code will be displayed. In addition, a “SUDS” error may also be generated as a secondary error. This is an indication of a drain pump problem and/or clog in the drain line. You will need to check the following:

1. Check the drain hose to make sure it is not kinked or clogged.
2. Check the electrical connections to the pump and ensure the pump is running.
3. Remove the drain pump filter and check for foreign objects and/or debris.

To check the drain pump, click on the following link for step-by-step instructions.

If the above procedures do not correct the problem, it is recommended by the manufacturer to replace the drain pump

I have a kenmore washer HE3T and the flash code

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. Error F 35 means ANALOG PRESSURE SENSOR FAILURE- If this failure is displayed then there is any malfunction of the component detected by the Steamer Electronic Board.

1. Check if pressure hose is fixed correctly.
2. Check if the air trap is not blocked.
3. Check if the hose is not blocked

If it still not works then it is a problem with the water level pressure switch operation. There could be a blockage in the air dome or pressure switch hose. The air dome is located on the back of the tub on the left hand side. If the pressure switch hose and the air dome are clear of any blockages, then there is an issue with the water level pressure switch.

Please do rate the solution if the issue is resolved or else post a comment for further assistance.

Thanks

My Kenmore HE3t was run for more than 10 minutes

UNPLUG the washer for at least 30 minutes. This will reset the Central Control Unit (CCU), which is the main control board for the washer. Make sure the water valves are on and plug the washer back in. If the washer still does not clear after a CCU reset, there is a diagnostic procedure you can run that, not only checks all the basic washer functions, but will also clear most momentary program glitches. Each one of these washers comes with a tech sheet inside. The tech sheet lists all error code definitions, troubleshooting data, diagnostics procedures and wiring diagrams. I mention the tech sheet because you may need it to troubleshoot this error code.

To access, you will need to remove the lower toe panel under the door. The access screws are located under the bottom front edge of the panel. You may have to prop the two front feet of the washer up for better access ( a 2x4 works well for this). With the screws removed, the panel should drop down, then come off. If the tech sheet isn't directly behind the panel, it will be affixed to one of the interior cabinet walls.

Read through the information provided and if you have questions, please post back with your complete MODEL NUMBER and let me know. I hope you find this information helpful.

OK above are your troubleshooting manuals and how to repair websites. Below is a DIY how to troubleshoot your unit.

http://www.washerhelp.co.uk/diy-repair-help.html

F25stands for DRIVE MOTOR TACHOMETERERROR.

If the control is unable to properly detect motor speed, the machine shuts down.
If a failure occurs during high-speed spin, the door unlocks after 3 Minutes.

Possible Causes/Procedure

1. Verify the shipping system including shipping bolts, spacers and the power cord are removed.
2. Unplug washer or disconnect power.
3. Check drive motor tachometer resistance. It should be approx. 115 ohms.
4. Check wire harness connections between the drive motor and the Motor Control Unit (MCU), and between the MCU and the Central Control Unit (CCU).
5. Plug in washer or reconnect power.
6. Check the MCU by looking for operations of the drive motor.
7. Check the drive motor for powered rotations.

this is covered by your SEARS warranty and you should contact them to have it repaired...

Water in tub after it has been sitting all day and

This problem is commonly attributed to a water inlet valve leaking by or a pressure switch malfunction. The following link explains how to diagnose the problem:

http://www.fixya.com/support/r3753262-front_load_washer_fills_when_not_in_use

If you live in an area that has hard water, or if you use well water, the water inlet valve can clog with sediment, rust, or calcified deposits over time and cause the valve not to close properly. This can cause leak by when not in use.

The pressure switch has a small air hose attached that, if it becomes detached or has any holes in it, will cause the pressure switch to malfunction. This can also result in a washer that fills when not in use, but will also cause the washer to overfill in most cases.

Read through the link provided and let me know if you need further assistance. I have included parts resources and procedures on how to replace each part in the link. If you have any questions, please post back with your MODEL NUMBER and let me know. I hope you find this information helpful.

I get an H on the washing machine what does this

Hi,

The reason for "F" flash is that if your machine doesn't pump water out or spin, check to see if the motor is running, then proceed as follows:

If the motor is running, your washer probably has a frozen pump pulley or a broken pump belt. To check the pulley, remove the pump from the washer and try to rotate the pulley manually. If it doesn't turn freely if it's frozen or stiff replace it. If the pump belt is broken or looks quite worn, replace it but be sure to check the pump pulley before you change the belt.
If the motor isn't running, the lid switch may be defective. If so, the washing machine can't spin and may not function at all. The switch is inside the washing machine main housing near the door frame. Often you have to raise or open the top or front of the washing machine to get to the switch. If it's defective, you need to replace it.

Thank you !!

F35 error code

The F35 indicates that the main control board detects a problem with the analog pressure sensor (water level pressure switch) in the washer. This component senses and controls water level in the washer. This failure could be caused by a pinched or broken air hose between the air trap at the bottom of the washer tub and the analog pressure sensor. It can also be caused by a clogged air trap or a failed analog pressure sensor. If you are able to unplug the washer and pull off the top panel, you can check for the probable cause of this failure.

To remove the top panel, remove the screws on the very back of the panel that secure it to the washer cabinet. Pull the top panel back slightly and then and off of the washer. It is on the side wall just behind the expansion control board. You can check the air pressure hose connection and the wire harness connection on this component.

This component costs around $99.This information was based on the general description of the washer model that you provided (Kenmore Elite front load washer). There are several different models of this washer.

The following link explains the error in more detail and how to correct:

http://www.fixya.com/support/r3608687-sud_error

NOTE: If these preliminary measures do not correct your problem, you may have to replace the drain pump. It does not take much to damage the pump impeller or motor. Since the error code can be generated if the drain cycle exceeds 8 minutes, if the pump is damaged and can't pump at the required volume, the error code will continue to appear until the pump is replaced.

Hello I have a Kenmore

The drain pump has definitely gone bad. The impeller should turn full and freely when turned manually, not just half turn. It means it is getting stuck and indeed the reason the pump motor heats up excessively. Replace the drain pump assembly to address the problem and get the washer back into normal operation.

Wash Cycle stops and 02F flashes

"F02" is a Long Drain error. This is usually an indication of an obstruction somewhere in the drainage system, or a failed drain pump. In most cases, the drain pump reservoir needs to be cleaned out. The following link explains how:

http://www.fixya.com/support/r3574284-checking_the_drain_pump_on_a_front_loade

If you check the drain pump reservoir and the problem still persists, you may have a pump with a damaged motor/impeller, or something lodged in one of the drain lines. In particular, the drain line that runs from the bottom of the wash tub to the inlet side of the pump.

I recommend you remove the inlet hose, as well, and inspect for clogs. In is common for small garments to become lodged in this area and restrict water flow to the drain pump. Check the output drain line for obstructions as well.

It does not take much to damage these small drain pumps. The error code is generated if the drain cycle exceeds 8 minutes. So...if the impeller or motor become damaged, and the pump does not pull water at the correct volume, you may still experience the drain error. In this case, you will have to replace the pump in order to get the error to clear. The following link explains how:

Controls Locked

The Control Lock is a safety feature that enables the consumer to lock the control panel to prevent small children from manipulating the controls and accidentally starting the appliance. This can usually be reset and does not require a technician.

With the lock on, the control panel is disabled and you cannot use any of the controls, except the button to unlock it. It can inadvertently be set following a power outage, leaning against the control panel, or pressing and holding the wrong button. This is usually not an indication of a malfunction.

If this is a Whirlpool manufactured appliance (such as Kenmore Elite or Whirlpool Duet), the following link explains how to lock/unlock this feature:

http://www.fixya.com/support/r3608801-control_panel_lock

These instructions are also printed on the front panel of the appliance and in the owner's manual.

If this does not correct your problem, then you may have a more serious problem than a simple operator control button issue (such as an operator console problem or main control board issue). Please post back and let me know if you need further assistance.

Fix your F11 fDL code forever....

STOP the insanity....that's what you're saying if you encounter the F11 and/or fDL error codes on your washer. If you're not there yet, you will be soon....
The dreaded F11 and/or fDL codes - been there done ALL that!! Our Whirlpool DUET washer is just over 5 years. We experienced our first F11 code 6 months ago (warranty just expired what else is new?). When it first happened, I thought nothing of it - hit the cancel button and the machine reset itself. Then it happened again and again and again. Each time it happened it was more challenging to reset it. I searched for the fix on line - I should have done my research before we purchased the washer.
I was able to determine the error was stemming from the CCU board. Order a new one at over $300.00 and have the same thing happen again - I don't think so. We tried EVERYTHING suggested on multiple websites.....unplugging the washer, hitting the right upper side, checking wires, wiggling the wires, wedging things to improve contacts, soldering, re-soldering, Vaseline, changed relays....anything and everything was a temporary fix. Contact Whirlpool directly? Tried that too, they apparently don't recognize there is an issue with F11 fDL errors, "not a commonly called in concern". Really?? We started searching washers to purchase....I couldn't bare spending $$$ for another washer, but we are a busy active family with 4 kids - what are our options? Then one night after searching the websites for one last desperate attempt at salvaging our washer, I followed through on a link:
http://cgi.ebay.com/Whirlpool-Duet-Kenmore-HE3T-CCU-Repair-For-F11-FDL-Code_W0QQitemZ230397337074QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item35a4c05df2

email: [email protected]

Now, I'm the biggest sceptic in the world and the most frugal consumer - really I am. I am posting my testament to this service because I've been there - frustrated, disappointed, angry. I am so pleased with the service Ed provided - from answering all my questions, to the superb job he did on the CCU. You can review all the comments posted by all his other pleased customers on eBay. I had to stand by my washer for the first 6 loads - just in case the beep beep beeps started. To my astonishment, amazement, and surprise - it never happened!! In my opinion, this is the only true fix for your F11/Fdl error!!
I never imagined in my wildest dreams ever telling anyone how happy I am to be doing my laundry again, but I really am!!

Hello iam getting a F-14 error message when the

Hi,

To Start with, this is a Common Error Message on this Model.

The F14 is this: EEPROM Error

The Central Control Unit (CCU) receives it’s data from an EEPROM onboard the CCU. If there is an error reading this data it will cause this error. So its likely you'll need a new CCU board. Check your owners manual, some models have up to a 5 years parts warranty on that CCU.

Note - Try to Reset the Washer by keeping it Unplug for Few Minutes, say 30 Minutes and then Turn it ON.

Let me know,if needed further assistance.

Hope i helped you.

Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!
