Kenmore Gas Dryer 11070852991. Have

bad gas coils,if you have heat for say the first 10 minutes then no heat you have bad gas coils located on top of the gas valve, when the coils cool down you'll have heat again this is what happens when they start to fail, also when you change them out on the large coil there's a metal spacer that should be on the post when you remove the coil if it isn't on the post look inside the coil you have to pop it out and slide it back on post part number 279834 remove the two phillips screws, and remove the metal cover, remove the wires from the coil and install the new coils, easy job as long as you know what to look for lol hope this helps you out and good luck

How do I change the light in gas dryer

there is likely an access spot on the back of the dryer that allows you to change the bulb without taking the entire dryer apart. the most you may need to do is remove the back panel of the dryer to access the light socket. it should either pop out with a clip or twist out 1/4 turn like the headlamps of most cars then you can replace it with a high temp appliance bulb as they last longer than standard bulbs

Hange light on gas dryer

Hello Robert; My name is Peter. I am a retired field service appliance technician. The number that you have provided is your owners manual number. This is a generic manual which applies to several models. Open the door on your dryer and you will see a label with the model number. What are you trying to do? Replace the light? The light assembly?

It never stops working unless I unplug it

If your dryer has sensor strips like thisthemobilian_2491.jpg
Then up in the control panel their is a small board that works in conjunction with them sensors.
Yank that small board out and clean the contacts with alcohol and reinstall it securely. What it does is when the wet clothes rub against them sensors it discharges a capacitor on that board. As long as that capacitor gets discharged the timer motor will not advance because this little moisture sensing board is what powers up the timer motor. Buying a new timer won't solve the probo. I have had some success with simply removing that board and cleaning the contacts. Maybe you will also. If you need further help, reach me via phone at https://www.6ya.com/expert/dan_73bbd84fe1d95b61

I dropped spray bottle lid

Can you see it? A trick I often use is to find some very sticky tape securely attached with the sticky side out on the end of a stick, and try to touch the lid with it and hopefully it will stick to the tape. On the plus side it probably won't do any harm just to leave it if you can't get it out.

I have a kenmore gas

if the flame is liting but stops after 15 to 30 minutes you have bad gas coils.if the flame is liting and clothes are not drying you have to clean out the dryer and the vent line.remove the vent line,if it's a long run to the outside i use a leaf blower to blow out the line, check the outside and make sure nothing is blocking the vent like a screen or cage,if there is remove it and don't put it back after you blow out the line, then clean out the duct that the lint filter slides into,if filter is on top the duct is in the back, remove the front panel and vac out all the lint in the cabinet where the motor is.number one problem with dryers is lint build up,all a dryer does is move air,if it's clogged with lint your gonna have problems.send full model number next time and let me know how you make out,if you need more help let me know
