Hi, follow the instruction below on how to remove the Pedestal on your Kenmore Washer..
Instruction:
- Unplug the washer power cord from the wall outlet. When removing the pedestal from a washer, turn off the water supply to the hoses.
- Disconnect the water supply hoses with a pair of pliers if you are working on the washer. Move the washer or dryer away from the wall enough so that you can tip the unit on its back.
- Open the drawer to the pedestal and remove the contents from the drawer. Grasp the clips on the drawer slides on each side of the drawer and squeeze them toward the drawer. Pull the drawer completely out of the pedestal. Push the pedestal slides back into the pedestal.
- Place cardboard or a sheet on the floor behind the unit. Ask a friend to help you tilt the unit on its back on top of the cardboard or sheet. Remove the four screws securing the pedestal to the bottom of the washer with a Phillips-head screwdriver. Pull the pedestal away from the washer.
- Insert the sheet metal screws back into the bottom of the washer where they secured the pedestal. Screw the feet for the unit into the four threaded holes on the bottom corner of the unit.
- Tilt the unit back into the upright position. Level the unit according to the unit's user manual and reconnect the unit.

Hello. Begin by cleaning your machine. To do this, pour two cups of white vinegar into the dispensers with the machine empty. Then run a regular wash cycle. This may solve your problem. If so, repeat the cleaning procedure once a month or so.
IF it does not solve the problem, it is possible that the timer that releases these products is faulty. If that is the case, the timer will have to be replaced.

F-21 error on my Kenmore HE2t
"F21" (AKA SD) is a Long (SLOW) Drain error (LD). If the drain time exceeds 8 minutes this error code will be displayed. In addition, a "SUDS" error may also be displayed. This may be an indication of a drain pump problem and/or clog in the drain line. You will need to check the following:
1.First, attempt to unplug the washer for at LEAST 30 minutes to reset the Central Control Unit (CCU). Sometimes this is all that is required to correct momentary glitches with the unit. If the error code returns, proceed to step 2.
2.Check the drain hose to make sure it is not kinked or clogged.
3.Check the electrical connections to the pump and ensure the pump is running.
4.Remove the drain pump filter and check for foreign objects and/or debris.

If the above procedures do not correct the problem, it is recommended by the manufacturer to replace the drain pump.

Why is my washer leaving black stains on my
It sounds like it might be leaving mold deposits. Try running a cycle with no clothes in it, hot, with a cup of bleach. If the stains are more brown than black, though, that would be rust in the pipes.
Washing does not go through the drain cycle, All
Several issues could cause this, and if all lights are flashing could indicate a issue with the motherboard or that its trying to flash a mechanical code, depending on the exact model. Best reconmendation is to unplug the machine for 2 to 3 mins giving it enough time to reset. Also check the drain hose for clogs and if mechanically incline, go ahead and open the back service panel or font panel and service the pump. Possibly sounds like a draining issue which could cause this as when the water goes through the pump and if its not exiting the machine at a certain speed can send a signal to the board to shut down and flash codes.

Washer doesn't drain
You need to open it up from the back, and most likely the problem is either
1) the suction cup if filled with gunk or
2) the drain clip/lanyard is broken....
either one, apply simple common sense and problem solve
I have model # 41447102700. It is not draining.

There's not a choice but to have a repair man see about this problem. It is generally caused by one of four possibilities, but it requires the rear panel to be removed, the lower panel removed and access to the back of the timer mechanism and down where the motor and clutch assembly are located to fix. Not an easy job for most handymen or ladies unless you have the tools and the "lift" to get the machine up in the air to test and inspect the necessary components.
My kenmore front loading washer is screeching
The wash drum should spin smoothly by hand without much noise. It is supported with two sets of ball bearings. If the water seal fails, water starts to leak into the inner bearing and they start to rust causing a loud noise especially during the spin cycle. The only way to fix it is to replace the bearings and seal. It a big and expensive job to replace the bearings since you literally need to take your washer apart to get to the bearings. Sorry.
Kenmore front loading washer has no spin cycle.
