F07 occurs at end of first rinse cycle

F07 - Motor Control Unit (MCU) Error - Disconnect power and unplug unit. Check wire harness connections between drive motor and Motor Control Unit (MCU), and between MCU and the Central Control Unit (CCU). Reconnect power and plug unit in.
Check the MCU by looking for operations of the drive motor, and check drive motor for powered rotations. Replace failed component.

Note: If this failure occurs during high-speed spin, the door will be unlocked after three minutes.

Why is there water in the tub when off for 2 or 3 days?

Either the tub has a slow leak in the faucet or water is backing up from the drain, you need a plumber to route out the drain pipe

He4t - monthly bleach cleaning cycle

Washer Monthly Maintenance Procedure:
This cycle uses higher water volumes in combination with liquid chlorine bleach to thoroughly clean the inside of your washing machine.
  1. remove any clothing or items from washer
  2. CLOSE door (duh)
  3. open dispenser drawer and remove the detergent compartment and set aside. No laundry products will be added at this time. You will be required to add only liquid chlorine bleach at a later step.
  4. For Kenmore Elite HE products press a specific combo of buttons.
  • Select Rinse/Spin program
  • select low spin speed
  • select warm/cold water temp.
  • select 2nd rinse option
  • push the "end of cycle" signal button 4 times within 5 seconds to start the cycle
The machine will fill and run a short sensing cycle. This will take about 3 minutes.

Step 5
  1. The washer will provide 4 short tones. Check the: ESTIMATED TIME REMAINING display for the codes indicated below:
  • if "Ab" (add bleach) displayed in the estimated time remaining window (you'll hear 4 short tones) proceed to Step 6.
  • if "rL" (remove load) displayed in the Estimated Time Remaining window an error tone will sound. The door will unlock.
-open the door and remove the items from the washer.
-continue the cycle by pressing the START button.

NOTE: The water in the unit will dispense for a moment, then the door will unlock, lock again, and then the cycle will continue with another check for items in the washer.

The machine will fill and run a short cycle to determine whether any items have been left in the washer. This will take approx 3 minutes.

the washer will repeat Step 5 until it can determine that there are NO items n the washer and will display "Ab" (add bleach).
6. Add liquid chlorine bleach.
  • If using the maintenance procedure for the first time, open the dispenser drawer and immediately add 1 cup liquid chlorine bleach to the Main Wash detergent compartment. The liquid bleach should immediately flow out of the dispenser.
  • If doing a monthly maintenance procedure, open the dispenser drawer and immediately add 1/3 cup bleach to the Main Wash detergent compartment. The liquid chlorine bleach should immediately flow out of the dispenser.

    NOTES:
  • Water will be flowing into the dispenser drawer when the bleach is added ... this is normal.
  • Do not add any detergent to this cleaning cycle. Use of more than 1 cup of bleachw ill cause product damage over time.
7. Once the cleaning cycle has begun, allow the cycle to complete. An est cycle time will appear on the display.

8. After the cleaning cycle is complete, leave the door open, clightly to allow for better ventilation and drying of washer interior.

9. Replace the detergent compartment divider.

THE MACHINE RUNS VERY WELL QUIET UNTIL THE FINAL SPIN CYCLE THEN FROM THE BACK OF THE MACHINE THERE IS A SQUEAL THAT GETS LOADER AS THE SPEED PICKS UP

This may well be the drum drive belt in the back of the washing machine. This belt transfers drive from the motor to the drum for both wash cycles and spinning. If the belt is slipping slightly on the pulley then a squeal may well be heard on the spin cycle and will change in pitch as the speed of the drum increases. At lower speeds (wash cycles) the belt probably won't slip. I don't personally know of this model but there is usually a tension adjustment nut/bolt near the motor to tighten the belt and stop it slipping.

Kenmore elite HE4T front load washing machine standing water

This problem can be caused by either a leaking water inlet valve, or a condition known as "siphoning". Since you just recently moved, I would make sure you don't have a siphoning problem, first. The following link explains how:

http://www.fixya.com/support/r587481-prevent_washer_siphoning

Although siphoning normally refers to a constant drain problem where a washer has problems maintaining the proper water level, it can also lead to problems where the drain line will back up into the washer.

Now, if you follow the advice in the link and determine this is NOT caused by siphoning, I would suspect that you have a water inlet valve that is leaking. A tell-tale sign will be water trickling down the fill tube in the rubber door bellow. The water inlet valves have a diaphragm that is controlled by an electric solenoid. Sometimes the valve becomes clogged with sediment or deposits, causing the diaphragm not to close properly. If you live in an area that has hard water, or use well water, you may have hard water deposits or rust build up in the valve. You may be able to correct the problem by removing the valve and cleaning it with some distilled vinegar. You can remove the valve by following these steps:

1. Unplug the washer and turn off water supply at the taps.
2. Disconnect the water inlet hoses.
3. Remove washer top panel by removing the three screws that hold the panel in place in the rear of the washer. With the screws removed, the panel slides back, then off.
4. The inlet valve (this is what your water inlet hoses connect to) will be located in the left rear of the washer (facing from the front). Remove the dispenser hose(s) from the valve and the electric connections. Remember how the electrical connections are removed. They should be color coded. One is for HOT, one is for COLD.
5. Remove the mounting screws that hold the assembly in place.

Once you have the inlet valve removed, you can place it in some distilled vinegar and let it soak. Just don't submerge the electrical connections. If this does not correct your problem, replace the valve. Searspartsdirect.com and repairclinic.com are two notable web sites that I have frequently used. Just type in your complete model number to begin the parts search.

I hope you find this information helpful. Let me know if you require additional assistance.

Kenmore elite washer will not start

The problem might be that the black pin (about 3/8" long and 1/8" in diameter), that normally sticks out of the frame of the washer at about the 2 o'clock position, and which is pushed in when the door closes, has broken off. If this pin breaks off, the washer will not recognize that the door has been closed. In my opinion, the pin is most likely to break when you close the door and the door was not properly aligned with the door frame -- in which case the pin will be sheared off. Let me know what you find.

Kenmore he4t washer codes

The control for the washer likely detected a problem. The failure code will not be displayed on all models of washers. You can recall the error code by using this procedure:

  1. Select the "Drain/Spin" cycle.
  2. Select No Spin.
  3. Press the "Prewash" options and hold this button for 5 seconds.
  • Immediately after those 5 seconds the last stored failure code is displayed for 4 seconds.
  • After those 4 seconds the display switches automatically back to the selection mode
NOTE: If your washer does not have the Pre-Wash option. Then use the 2nd Rinse button (called Extra Rinse). The failure code should stay in the memory so that it can be recalled as often as necessary and as long as it is the youngest failure Code.

Kenmore washing maching overflow after washing

The pressure switch, also called the water level switch, is what control the amount of water goes in the machine, If your machine is constantly filling to the overflow point, then that is your problem. Now, if water is going in and the level is staying the same then your machine drain line is lower than the pump and your siphoning out the water as it goes in. Pull the drain up a little a that should fix the problem. If you need further help, I’m available over the phone at https://www.6ya.com/expert/jason_4570d45317834dd3

I have a kenmore EH4t front load cloths washer.

F02 is for not draining correctly. Here is what you need to do:
1. Unplug the washer

2. Take of the toe panel in the front by removing the three screws.

3. Get a bunch of towels (I mean a bunch!!!)

4. The pump is in the center, and it has a plastic grip handle that one can unscrew to remove the filter. As you unscrew it, LOTS of water will come out. Be ready with the towels. A cookie sheet helps to collect the water too.

5. Clean the filter assembly.

6. If one wishes to check the inlet of the pump, remove the back panel, about 12 screws. (Note, the following works for replace the pump as well)

7. Remove the large bellow from the bottom of the tub that goets to inlet of the pump by removing the clamp

9. Lift up on the plastic cover that covers the wires that power the pump. There may be a small plastic catch that is lifted up as to allow the connector to become free.

8. Remove the Torx screw that holds that is the center just under the filter screen.

9. Pull the pump forward.

10. Unclamp the pump outlet hose.

11. Remove pump

12. Unclamp the large bellow on the pumps inlet and inspect for debris.

13. Clean pump and fitler w/o getting water on the pump.

14. Install in reverse order. Remember, it is much easire to put the inlet bellow and outlet hose on the pump before you put into the washer
