Forgot my pass word and lost disk

This is the Belkin support site for your router
http://www.belkin.com/support/article/?lid=en&pid=f5d8236-4&aid=14394&scid=942

Here you can download a PDF user manual, ask questions or download new firmware. (Thats the SW that runs inside the router)
You will need to look closer at your router to determine whive version of that model you have.
To clear the password and every other setting, back to factory default, find a small recessed button, usually by the power input. You will need a paper clip or pen tip to press and hold it for ten seconds or so.
Good luck

Can't setup two wireless computers

The router's password is a Passphrase or the WEP or WPA orWPA2 encryption key. The Passphrase generates the WEP or WPA or WPA2 encryptionkey and this is in the router's wireless settings. To connect to your wireless router, it needs the router'swireless settings configured ie SSID, WPA or WPA2 encryption key and also thewireless cards in all the laptops and or computers needs to be configured withthese router's wireless settings. Then the laptops and desktop computers cancommunicate with your wireless router.

How do I turn on the security mode

Check out the user manual: http://cache-www.belkin.com/support/dl/man_f5d8236-4_pm01122_7-08.pdf
Around page 41 or 42 will tell you how to setup WPA wireless security (I recommend against doing WEP). Generally to get to the settings page open your browser and type "192.168.2.1" without the quotes. Alternatively, you may be able to download their router setup wizard which will walk you through all the appropriate steps to securely setup your router.

How do I reset the administration password on

Here's what I found from the manual

Restoring the Factory Defaults
Press and hold the "Reset" button for at least 10 seconds, then release
it. The lights on the Router will momentarily flash. The "Router" light will
begin to blink. When the "Router" light becomes solid again, the restore

Here's a link to the manual as well:

If possible, to rule out the modem as the cause, connect a computer directly to the internet(bypassing the router entirely). If it is the router, you could try flashing it back to factory defaults and reconfigure. Log into the router's firewall feature and see if port 443 is blocked to the outside--this could cause https connections to fail.

After i gave the wireless internet a password on

I assume when you gave the wifi a password you changed it from an open connection to a secured connection. You will most likely need to configure the XBOX internet connection again but now you will need to input the same password as you used on your laptop.

Your only option is to perform a factory reset on the device (see this link) and set your network up from scratch. And keep your visitors away from your router.

I have a new ipad and it is not picking up the

When you select the connection on the Wireless Network Scanning. Turn it OFF and ON again.

If it shows on the network and is connected.

Just click on it and then on FORGET DEVICE.

Rescan... by ON and OFF again.

Try to put the correct password for router access.
It is probably an incorrect password for granting access to the wireless network.

If it shows on other computers and the network is up and working. You should have no problem.

If the Ipad is not detecting the router, then the problem is on how the network is set up.

You will then have to work with the router settings.

Hope it helps.

God Bless You!!
