go to a cricket store and they can fully flash it. just be aware that if you call cricket to make any changes to your phone they will tell you to dial #228 or some type of code and your flash will go away. Youll have to flash it again. I tried to add another phone to my line and this happened to me. Also if I decided to flash it again I will lose all of my info and pics UGHH!!! Just shop around for the contract which suits you and if your phone is compatible with the service they offer you'll be sent a new SIM. Easy as.

Whether you can port your existing prepay phone number to your contract SIM depends upon the network you're on and the country you live in, but if you can then it often takes a week or so.

The Verizon Samsung Smooth does not have a SIM card.

You will most likely have to take it to a Verizon store to have it flashed (reset to factory default).

since resetting would clear your data, that means its not an option here. however, that unlock code can be pulled out using some special tools. I would recommend you take it to a service point so that they read safely the passcode using those special software and hardware (cable).

I will advice you follow the procedure below,

1.Plug one end of the USB adapter into the phone, and the other end into an available USB port of your computer. Look to the bottom right of the screen and you should see an "Installing Driver..." window pop up. Wait a few minutes to allow the computer to look for a driver for your phone
2.Look for a window to pop up that tells you "Driver was successfully installed." If it never comes up, or instead a window pops up that says "Driver was not successfully installed," it means your computer did not recognize your cell phone. In this case, you'll need to look for the driver. If it did install, skip ahead to Step 5.

3.Install the driver by double-clicking on it. Before you do this, make sure your cell phone is unplugged. After you've installed the driver, plug in the cell phone, and it should be recognized
4.Go to "My Computer." Look for a new drive that has either the brand/model of the cell phone in the name, or simply a picture of the cell phone on the drive. It will probably have the drive name F:, I: or G:. Double-click on it.

5.Go to Start > File > Settings > Folder Options and select to enable hidden files and folders to be shown. Then go back to your cell phone's folder and look around. You should see a folder with the name "Pictures," "Photos," "images" or a similar name. Double-click on it, and you should see all your cell phone images.

6.Select images and right-click "Copy." Then go to your desktop and create a new folder by right-clicking and selecting "New Folder." Open up this new folder, right-click and select "Paste." Your images will then be copied from the cell phone to your computer where you'll be able to access them any time.

To get PIN/PUK code please contact your service provider.they will provide you the default PIN/PUK code so that you can open your phone.
While you get the PIN/PUK code ,the service provider customer care officer will ask for your personal details to check whether the mobile belongs to you only.If they are satisfied with your answers they will provide with the PIN/PUK code.

Enabling Internet on Pre-Paid Verizon Samsung Smooth SCH-U350

To make necessary changes, first we need to enable hidden menues.

Go to Menu, press 9 (Settings and Tools), then press #
A "User Lock" screen appears. Enter all six zeroes: 000000

Here we get into hidden System Info menu.
Select 2 (Port Map) and click on it. In this menu press *
Another "User Lock" screen appears. Enter 0103219211

Now we are in a Param Editor menu.
Click on 2 (Userprefs Editor).
The first item there will be Hidden menus. Change 0 to 1, click OK and exit the menu.

Now hidden menues are enabled and we can change Internet settings for Page Plus.

Go to Main Menu, choose 1 (Media center). There highlight Mobile Web (4) (don't press on it!) and press #
"Enter Phone Lock Code" screen appears. Enter 4 last digits of your phone number.

Now we are in the Browser settings menu.
The settings should be the following:

1. Primary DNS (only options 3 and 6 should be changed)

hi, :) about yr pro,the phone was USA version software,so u sure cant use in Phillippines.we call that is Sim lock. so,wt u can do ? if u don have computer online,just send it to yr nearby mobile shop to reload another version software.
