Whirlpool Cabrio WTW6800W Washer Questions & Answers
Can you please let me
Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,
Actually the 'Cabrio' model, for some reason which I cannot fathom, does NOT have a filter which I have to say seems a bit strange! Maybe it is not practical/feasible (???).
It must be possible to be able to have the drain motor/pump checked 'cos that could be a bit blocked up???
If this has assisted you please consider a 4 thumbs up for the rating.
Thanks and good luck!

You
may perform an automatic diagnostic test to check the machine functions and view any saved fault codes.
Fault codes may also appear during the test when a problem is detected. Be
sure the washer is in standby mode (plugged in with all indicators off,
or with only the Clothes Clean or Done indicator on). Select any one
button (except POWER, START, and STOP) and follow the steps below, using
the same button (remember the button):
If this test mode has been entered successfully, all indicators on the console are illuminated for 5 seconds with 88 showing in the Estimated Time Remaining two-digit display. The program then automatically checks for saved fault codes. Record the fault codes and post it back.
Press the same button used above in activating the test to advance through the automatic test steps. The basket must be floating in order to agitate. Allow step C1 to complete before advancing to the other steps. Record any fault code shown during the tests and post it back including which step the code is displayed.

If you have been overdoing it with the soap or using incorrect detergent AND you have noticed that the washer takes a long time to finish a load I would lean toward a very tired and worn out RPS (rotary position sensor. If you use the correct amount of the correct soap religiously then I would lean towards objects between the tub. pop the cover off the nut remove the nut on the agitation pale and get it out then you can remove the tub and look for junk.
