The first this you want to check is that the side of the michrophone that has the word "TALK" embossed in the plastic where the boom meets the mic housing is facing your mouth. Minor mic placement adjustments and proper orientation can make a huge difference with VXi, Blueparrott headsets. If mic placement and orientation are correct and you are still experiencing an issue I'd recommend calling VXi at 800-742-8588 for warranty repair information.

It is actually very easy to remove the battery on the BlueParrott B250-XT. To remove the earpiece, just pull it out of the socket but be careful not to pull the wire attached to it when you separate it from the body. Next, remove the five screws to access the battery compartment. Disconnect the battery from the board and leave it disconnected for 10 minutes or so. Re-connect the battery and re-assemble. Connect the headset to your charger and after a couple of minutes, it should start charging showing red until fully charged. If it still won't charge, you may have to order a new battery. You can find a replacement battery on EBAY for around 10 dollars. Repeat the battery replacement and check to see if it starts to charge. If it works, you are good to go. If it does no work, you may have to send it to the manufacturer for repair. Good Luck!
