Try this. Press and hold the SEL button. When the menu appears, if pressing left/right button doesn't select clock, try turn the volume to select and press right/left to set. Let me know it works.

Swapping the red and yellow wires cannot possibly have any affect on the radio. Both wires need to see 12 volts for proper operation. If they are reversed, it would only simply fail to save the memory settings. You have other issues. You have probably lost power on the red wire.

Problem with KD-R200 or KD-AVX33?What does it mean by "it lights up blue then nothing?" Does it takes CD in?

The red accessory wire goes to ignition or a switched power source. There should be a blue wire that goes to power antenna.
