My kodak 5250 printer won't connect to my wireless

The most basic reason you can't connect Kodak printer to your wireless network is that it's not set up correctly. So the first thing we are going to try is to follow the official setup wizard to connect the Kodak Printer to your Wireless network. If You need Instant Help then Dial Our Printer Support Number 817 442 6637 or follow these steps: Method - 1: Connect Kodak Printer Online using the Wi-Fi Setup Wizard
·Press the Home button on your Kodak printer. ·Head over to the Network Settings using the right arrow key. ·Here you will find the WiFi Setup Utility. Click on it. Note that when you select the Wi-Fi Setup Utility, it automatically turns on the Wi-Fi radio. So check if it's turned on or not. ·You will get a screen showing all available wireless networks. You can browse through them using the up and down arrows. First, select the network name that you wish to connect to. ·If your network name is not visible, then select the Re-scan option to force the printer to search for your wireless network again. If it still can't find it, check to see if the WiFi router is turned on, whether it's placed physically close to the printer, or the network name (SSID) is set to visible. Also, check if you enabled IP Address filtering on your router for security reasons. If so, add the printer IP address to it. ·Once you see your wireless network, connect to it. The printer will require you to select a user password. You can do this using the onscreen keyboard, and remember it's case-sensitive. ·After configuring your new network password, click OK. ·Next, a confirmation message will show up on the screen. Click Next, and your printer should be successfully connected to your WiFi network. To confirm this yourself, look at the Wi-Fi connectivity LED. It should stop blinking and remain lit. ·And that's it - you should have successfully connected your Kodak printer to your WiFi network. But in case you are still facing issues, try the following method.
Method - 2: Connect Kodak Printer Using WPS ·WPS is short for Wi-Fi Protected Setup and is a feature that allows for a one-touch connection between your wireless router and other devices. Here's a quick guide on how to use WPS to connect to your Kodak Printer.
·Like before, press the Home button, go to Network Settings, and click Wi-Fi Setup Wizard. But this time, click on WPS Connect. ·Now press the WPS button on your wireless router. There should be a physical button on it, or you can click on a virtual switch in the device's software. ·Next, select the Push Button Configuration option on your Printer and choose the WPS option for your wireless router. ·Press OK on the control panel. Now you should notice your SSID or network name displayed on the list of available wireless networks on your printer. ·Tap the SSID for your Wi-Fi network and enter your password to connect to it. ·Similar to before, check the WiFi connectivity LED to confirm that the connection is stable and active. And that's it! Congratulation, you have successfully set up your Kodak printer to work with your Wi-Fi network. You should now be able to take printouts wireless. But if you still face issues, Then Dial Our Helpline number 817 442 6637

Will not print

The Kodak EasyShare line of printers is designed to be user friendly and is intended for novice computer users. The printers feature direct camera-to-printer connections, easy-to-use software, and simple paper loading. If you are having issues with your Kodak EasyShare printer, here are a few things you can try to troubleshoot the problem.

Update EasyShare Software

If your printer is new or it has been awhile since you have used it, your software may be out of date. This can cause your printer to respond slowly (or not at all) and may interfere with online functionality. To update your Kodak EasyShare software, go to the link in the Resource section and click on the "Download" link to automatically install the latest software.
Printer Interior Is Dirty

Although its easy to think that all electronics are clean and streamlined, for most printers this simply isn't the case. After frequent use, ink smears and splatters will line your printhead. This can cause your printed documents to appear blotchy, uneven or streaky. Luckily, cleaning your print head is a snap. Simply open the EasyShare program and select "Print Head Cleaning" to run the manual print head cleaning operation. For a deeper clean, you can open the top of the printer and clean the bottoms of the ink cartridges (as well as the print bar) with some moist cotton swabs.
Printer Needs to Be Recalibrated

When a printer is calibrated, the print head has been set to work with a specific type of paper and is in the optimum position for printing documents with crisp, clear lines. However, after frequent use, the calibration may fade, and you'll notice your document printing close to one side, or text and images going off the page. To fix this, you will have to recalibrate the printer by removing the printhead and ink cartridges. Replace the printhead by pressing it firmly back into place until you hear a snap. When the printer initializes, press the "Menu" button, and then choose "Calibrate Printer." Your printer should reposition the print head, and a test page will print out. If everything looks straight, your printer has been recalibrated successfully. If not, you may want to contact Kodak Support via its website. See the Resource section for a link.

I hope you find it very helpful. Best regards.

Its printing but no evidence of ink the cartridges

Inkjet printers need to be used frequently to prevent inkdrying out in the print head nozzles.
If the print head cleaning maintenance routine does not clear the blockages, then print head needs replacing, but it may be expensive.
It may be more cost effective to buy a later model and better printer thanreplace the print head.

Printer has new ink but won't print black tones

Good day SIr/Maam, the path blocking the ink will not reach the paper, usually the ink travels from the ink cartride to the carrier or cradle, then to the paper. since you mention that the cartride has ink, check also the carrier of the ink, it may have dried ink on it. you need to remove the carrier and clean the dried ink. If you cant remove the carrier, bring it to your dealer, they have inhouse techs there to help you out.

Hi,

Check that the print-head is properly installed if there are missing colors on the calibration sheet. Open the printer access door and take out the black and color ink cartridges. Push the print-head release button. Fully remove the print-head. Reinsert the ink cartridges and print-head and close the printer access door. If this does not resolve the problem, contact Kodak Service and Support.

You have already tried all possible troubleshooting steps to fix the issue which did not work. This definitely seems to be issue with the Black Printhead and you need to replace it to make the printer work.

Contact Kodak and check if they can replace the printhead for you for free.
