Can't get anything over antenna
Did you use an inside or outdoor antenna? An outdoor antenna rotated in the correct direction will give you the best chance of getting any signal. Look at antennaweb.org and tvfool.com for the channels in your area, the direction in which the antenna must be pointed and the type of antenna you will need to get them. Antennaweb.org is very conservative in the channel listings even with the assumption of an external antenna. Do you have hills, trees or tall buildings between you and the various transmitters? That will block your signal strength - remember digital TV is an all-or-nothing signal.
I hope this helps.

(antennaweb indicates that my location will only get 2 channels from a transmitter 10 miles away. With a properly oriented outdoor antenna and an splitter/amplifier, I actually get those + 3 from 30 miles away on several TVs without signal loss..)
How do I hook up my dvd player and WII system to
Allot depends on your DVD player and WII. Since the TV is a color one unless the movie your watching on the DVD player is B/W it will play in color, same with the WII. If your DVD player supports HDMI then select one of the HDMI ports on the TV (there are 3) same for the WII depending on what outputs it supports select one of the corresponding inputs on your TV. The user manual shows several options for various components and should be of some assistance in your connections.
DYNEX DX-L42-10A - WHERE IN THE H*** IS THE POWER
Looking at the back of the TV to the left of the stand you'll find the receptacle for the power cord. They placed it under the flat of the ledge. Like the audio/video connections they are well sutied for wall mounting as the won't be sticking out requireing more space for mounting. On the down side it maks it difficult to see where to connect them with out tilting the set over on it's face or getting lower than the ledge to see or read the connection points.
I have a brocken panel tv lcd42hd-09 were i kent
In most (if not all cases) it is cheaper to buy a new tv as to replacing the broken LCD. The odds of finding an exact match tv with other problems other than a broken screen is not very likely. To purchase a replacement out right is incredibly expensive. If it's not under warrant (or even if it is) a broken screen is not a manufacturers defect and they won't cover it. Just an example. I have a 46" Sony Bravia KDL-46V2500 with a screen damaged by a WII striking the screen. Still under warranty but not covered. Replacement screen is between $4,000.00 to $5,200.00 plus the labor to have theold one removed and a new one installed. NOTwoth the price to replace as two much newerand larger TV's can be bought for that kind of noney. So as far as a broken screen goes even the highend models are throw away's.
How do i get my
This is all depending on the programming not the TV. If the signal is 1080I that is what it is now if it is in 1080p depending on your TV if it supports 1080p it will be displayed as such.

Looking for universal remote for Dynex brand tv.
I just posted this moments ago:
Well, 'universal' is fundamentally not true anyhow.
If your set is newer than the remote, the remote cannot have the complete code set built in and likely no other will either.
There are no 'standard' code sets and even if your model was listed, it may not control more than power, volume and channel.
If you want a multibrand/multidevice remote, find one you like, go to the manufacturer's website and check the code list for that particular model number to see if it will be of any use to you before buying it.
NONE of the 'universal' remotes have all the codes sets of all the devices past, present and future. It is a lie and a technical impossibility.

While you might find one that can learn to some extent although I have one of those and it won't 'learn' from every other IR remote either.
