How to RESET MOTOROLA CP1660 handheld radio -

Entering Front Panel Feature and Button Configuration Mode If your radio is turned ON, turn it OFF. Press and hold the side programmable button 1, and turn your radio ON. A tone is heard, indicating that your radio is in Feature and Button Configuration Mode. The indicator illuminates and the "BCKLIGHT" is displayed on the radio LCD screen. Whenever the radio is turn on, it initiates a self-test routine which checks the RAM, EEPROM hardware and EEPROM checksum. If Self Test passes, the green LED flashes once and a Self-Test Pass Tone is generated. If unsuccessful, the red LED flashes rapidly and a Self-Test Fail Tone is heard You may need the programing software to do the reset the manual does not give you any info on resetting the radio

Motorola TLKR T3 one way not working but Monitor works...

Check your Private Line (aka interference eliminator code, tone code, PL, quiet call). It sounds like you have one radio set with a PL setting and the other one is open squelch (no private line). All settings for frequency and PL code need to be the same between the two radios. We don't have a manual for the T3, but I am attaching one for the T5, which may be similar. http://www.motorola.com/web/Business/Products/Two-Way%20Radios%20-%20Unlicensed/_Documents/TLKR-T%20series/Static%20Files/T5%20Manual%20EU.pdf Best regards.

How can I get my Motorola CLS1110 to talk to my Baofeng BF 888s?

The CLS has preprogrammed frequencies. The Bao can be user programmed. If both are Uhf, the Bao must match the CLS unless one of the CLS frequencies is already in use in the Bao. So, are you already using CLS and adding radios? You need the actual frequency and tone code. If you do not understand, contact a dealer like us, local is even better! Channel 1 is only an indicator, not a frequency. [email protected]

I have the Motorola talkabout t5710 walkie talkies they were working and now one of them is just flashing all of the icons and is clicking the other one still works. I tried a few things but if anyone knows how to fix this I would greatly appreciate it.

Check your battery connections and/or batteries. It sounds like the radio is trying to perform the “power on” sequence, but doesn’t have enough power to actually power on. Use fresh from the package or other “known good” batteries, and clean the battery contacts with rubbing alcohol and a clean paper towel. If there is corrosion or other oxidation on the contacts, you may need to use an emery board and then the alcohol wipe. Beyond that, the radio is not really “user serviceable”. Is there any chance the malfunctioning radio was exposed to water?

You must buy Motorola software from Motorola. Get a cable from them also. You also must have an FCC License to legally operate these radios. Your best best is to go through a dealer. The FCC License is quite hard to do without a dealer guiding you. It is easy to be ripped off and you must go through a coordinator. If not USA, still go through a dealer. The software and cable issue does not go away, ever.

Motorola cp200d will not work with a headset.

A few things come to mind: 1) Be certain your radio is turned off when plugging in an audio device. This insures they are pairing properly. 2) Be certain the audio device is plugged in all the way to the click position. You should feel a slight click when it is seated properly. 3) If the jack on this radio is slightly wobbled out from audio devices being plugged and unplugged the headset's plug may not be touching the sweet spot to make transmitting possible. Press slightly to the side on the plug's grommet to see if it works. If this is the case, trade headsets with another unit and see if you still have the same problem. Sometimes it is as simple as playing musical chairs with audio devices. 4) If you are using the radio in digital mode, not all audio devices will work. Check with your Motorola dealer to see which audio accessories will work with your unit in digital mode. (They will have a digital emblem stamped on them.)

How do I find my PIN/passcode for bluetooth BT895? I get a message on my Motorola Z(2) Android phone that says "could not pair because of incorrect PIN or passkey

Generally the manufacturer puts the Bluetooth pairing passcode in the user manual. In my experience it’s usually 0000 or something similar. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to find the manual online to get the information for you, but if you still have the manual that came with the device, it should be in there. If you don’t have access to the manual, you could try calling the manufacturer’s support number to request the code—it will be the same for all devices with that model number so it should be pretty easy for them to look up.
