What to if the clean light is flashing and dishwasher will not start
That blinking light is trying to tell you that there is something wrong with your dishwasher. Watch that blinking light.... Does it blink 7 times, pauses, and repeats? Or does it blink 3 times (or some other number). The most common problem is 7 blinks which means "water not heating error". This could be caused by a bad heating element, a bad thermal cutoff or thermostat, a bad controller, or a problem with the door latch and/or switches. If you need further help, reach me via phone at

Buzzing sound
a loud buzzing sound it is probably a faulty control/timer module.
If the appliance works the same, you can keep it like this, if it still under guaranty, call the number listed on the owner manual to get repair.
If you got the sound only recently, that means that the control is going to fail soon, in that case call a repairman and have the control assembly replaced.
You find diagrams and parts here, just enter the model number.

Hi
Press and hold the HEATED DRY/NO HEAT DRY/AIR DRY button for
15 seconds to unlock the control lock in your dishwasher. Also make sure that
nothing is blocking the drain pump assembly. If the issue returns after its
cleaned then it means that the control board has gone bad and should be
replaced. Hope this helps...please post back for further assistance.

sounds like you have a stuck key pad on the touch control board. there is no easy way to check this, but you can unplug the "ribbon" strip from the control board. then you will need to jumper the board to see if you can force the unit to run by bypassing the key pad.
i cant find an exact match for your model number, but if you check the wiring diagram, behind the lower access panel, it will show you which 2 terminals can turn on a cycle.
the best thing i can tell you is to just replace the control panel with a touch pad assembly. it could cost about 125-150 bucks, but that should fix the problem.
My dishwasher leaks. I've replaced the gasket but
check your float valve in the bottom of the dishwasher. I just had this problem and was confused for quite some time and then I noticed the float valve was not always "clicking" every time I picked it up and down...it turned out that the switch that is on the bottom of the dishwasher that is attached to the float was binding on the cover that surrounds it, so all I did was shave a bit of the plastic from the edges of the cover and now it works great! Good Luck!
My Kenmore elite dishwasher 665.13793K600 has 2
I have a Kenmore model # 665.13793K600 and it has been having a small puddle of water remaining in the bottom at the end of each cycle. I've taken it apart and cleaned it. I'm thinking I may have the drain hose incorrectly positioned or it could even be something unrelated. I can only think of the drain because I replaced the kitchen faucets a coupe of months ago and it could be since then that this has been happening.
