An extra part inside the dishwasher

I have a Bosch dishwasher with the same "mystery" part. According to my manual, this part is an Extra Tall Item Sprinkler (select models). Apparently, if you are loading in extra tall items, you take out the top rack and insert this part into the top rack spray outlet (located a the back of the dishwasher). Turn it clockwise to lock it into position. Put your extra tall items in the bottom rack. Hope this helps!

Blinking Clean Light on Kenmore & Whirlpool Dishwashers

The blinking "clean light" is a common problem with some of the Kenmore and Whirlpool models dishwashers. The problem is usually attributed to water supply temperatures being too low when filling. Apparently, there are some issues with the temperature sensing circuits in some dishwashers that causes an error code to be generated if a certain water temperature is not achieved in a specified time interval (this time may differ between models). There is a reset sequence that you can try to clear the fault. Push the NORMAL WASH then HEATED DRY buttons in that sequence two to three times. The unit will enter diagnostics mode, but can be stopped by pressing the CANCEL button. This will clear any existing faults and should return the dishwasher to normal operation.

To keep the fault from returning, it is recommended that you run your hot water faucet in the kitchen until it runs hot BEFORE you start the dishwasher. This will heat the water in the supply line for the dishwasher (most dishwashers are fed from the kitchen sink supply line). The theory is that if you fill the dishwasher with hot water from the start of the wash cycle instead of the cool water that is normally in the lines (especially if you have a hot water tank located far away from the kitchen), this should satisfy the requirements of the temperature sensing circuits. If the fault reappears, there should be a tech sheet located inside the lower panel under the door that explains what the fault is. The flashing light will be a series of flashes, followed by a pause. If you indeed have a component problem, it will depend on the number of flashing lights in the sequence. Refer to the tech sheet to determine WHAT component is affected and how to troubleshoot.

Kenmore elite, im locked out and cant reset, no

I took off the lower panel and found some paperwork that gave option notes. under control lock it says "the Control Lock light is turned on and all keys of the keyboard are disabled wheneverthe control lock feature is involked by the customer. The Control Lock feature (and light) can be turned on or off by the costomer at any time by holding down the Air Dry option (water heat/ no water heat) key for 4 plus aeconds." Now I held it down (pushed) longer until the Lock light turned off, then If it doesn't turn off I did it to the no water heat and light turned off.
Hope this helps.

?what are small rubber pieces that fell out

Washer or grommet has degraded. Pull off parts such as hoses and filters and arms to see if the issue can be easy to locate but if not, as long as the unit is running without issue, you may just have to leave it to work itself out. That is to say, it may not be important if it isn't causing any issues.

Reset kenmore dishwasher

The most common "reset" key sequences are: Heated Dry - Normal - Heated Dry - Normal; or High Temp - Air Dry - High Temp - Air Dry; or Hi Temp Scrub, Energy Saver Dry, Hi Temp Scrub, Energy Saver Dry; or High Temp Wash, Heated Dry, High Temp Wash, Heated Dry). On some of the newer Whirlpool, Kenmore, KitchenAid dishwashers, you start the diagnostic cycle by rapidly pressing the 3 left-most keys in the following sequence: 1 2 3, 1 2 3, 1 2 3. Kenmore elite dishwasher 66513922k010

So, you have power on both sides of the fuse, huh? How did you test that? Did you use one of those voltage detectors that light up when they get near a "hot" wire? If so, then I would tell you to make sure your white return line (neutral line) is NOT hot, because if it is, then you probably have a bad connection in your junction box for your white (neutral) line. But if all that's fine, then you EITHER have a bad control console, or a bad control board, and I would bet it's the control board. Kenmore Elite dishwasher will not drain

If the drain pump won't run, the most common cause is something hard (like a piece of glass or hard plastic) got into the pump and is blocking the impeller. If you want to fix it yourself, first unpug the dishwasher. Then you will need to either siphon the water out of the sump area or use a wet vac to suck out the water from the sump area. Then remove the toe-kick panel so you can get to the underside of the dishwasher. Depending on the model, you may be able to access the drain pump from there, or you may have to pull the dishwasher out. Then you can remove the end of the drain hose and check the area there. If that's okay, you can remove the drain pump by finding and pressing on the release button or lever, and turning it 1/8 turn counter-clockwise, If there's an obstruction, you will find it now. If no obstruction, then you probably have a bad drain pump and will need to replace it. If you need further help, reach me via phone at https://www.6ya.com/expert/ronald_e6b9572cebe3ad27
