I have Windows 7 and have installed the correct
if you ran the driver and it is installed ..check it on the device manager (right click on my computer ..properties/ hardware/ device manager ..and if the scanner appears in yellow you have to click right and update driver..It will run the add new hardware wizard and you will have to go along with it ..either let it make this manually ..it should find the driver you installed previously ..and install it ..or do this manually by choosing it from existing installed drivers..
There is always the possibility that the driver you have is not compatible ..so ..get on the support site and download the one for windows 7 from there or at least for the vista..

Problem with SLIDES2PC
I think there is a buffer that has to be cleared after so many pictues ie processed.

I bought an Ion Slides2PC
If you tried installing the 64 bit first on a 32 bit OS, that could be the issue.
Try doing a system restore back to a point before the installation, and install the 32 bit version and see if that fixes it.
Runtime errors can be a bit tricky to track down.

this will download the drivers for your product. you should not connect your device before installing the drivers. wait until the drivers are installed first. if you are unsure which version you are running, simple to find out .......
click start button, right click on computer, and select properties. the operating system version will be listed in the dialogue box.

Ion power scan
The code is on a label on the disc envelope. 'SN' is presumably 'Serial Number', so just type in the 4 blocks of 4 digits after 'SN: '
