access the device manager on the PC then on the list provided go to the mice & other pointing devices category then expand that by either clicking on the Plus sign next to it then look for the name of the mouse pad right click on it & select disable.you can access device manager by doing this: click on start>right click computer>left click on manage>it will open up computer management then on the left side of that you will see the device manager option. that is for vista & windows 7. for windows XP start>right click my computer icon>select hardware tab>click device manager.

just reinstall the camera and will fix the problem ..if you do not have the driver for it ..just goto asus support site ..select download ..and your model and operation system and there will be a download available ..

I do not have idea what fro do you need manuals for laptop, but to fulfill you wish, go to this page and select your operating system, then you will have choice of drivers, updats and manuals:

1st you can boot at safe mode (F5), and reinstall video driver.
Or well you have a defective lcd, you must send to repair.

2. Asus Utility
3.Click on LifeFrame(your web cam should work)

go to start menu search for webcam

There are some things you can do. If you didn't get restore cd's with unit, you can order them from Asus. If you got cd's then boot to it and restore the system to factory. If you don't want to order cd's then go to computer store and buy an xp cd and boot to it and wipe hard drive and install xp. If the system has lots of ram then just upgrade to windows 7. you can look online for password recovery but it will cost you money and sending them the info from your system.

Please download camera drivers as per Hardware ID of camera.

Here is the web page for ASUS drivers for your computer. There are no special sound drivers for XP SP2.
You need to download the drivers. I recommend putting the drivers in their own separate folder.
Each driver file needs to be decompressed with Win Zip or a similar program or Win XP itself. Decompress into the same folder.
Select the setup file for the driver and 'run' it.
