How can I connect my blue ray from wired over to wifi connection?

Per Mfg website the NS-BRDVD does not have any network connections so you cannot use it on a wired or wireless network. You can only cable it with an HDMI to the TV.

How do i get an activation code for netflix on an acer iconia a500 tablet?

There are two ways to view netflix either browser or using the netflix app. Both use the same system og login and password. You will have to contact netflix support to get help with that. Either way will use the same account login details. They are pretty quick on the job for helping out with these things.

It is really a skilled work, and you should have through knoledge in electronics, and all tools to repair the set. Otherwise, get this set repaired by any experienced service person or by the Authorised Service Center for Insignia at your town. The whole mechanism should be disassemble to repalce the component. My new Dlink wireless router uses WEP security.

actually the wep security standard is the easiest to crack.. it can be done useing an application and takes about 12 minutes... wpa and wpa2 are the recommended standards for wireless encryption.. as far as recommendations are concerned i would say one of two things... if you still have the purchase reciept for the dvd player return it and purchase one that meets your connection needs.. or you can add an access point to your current router that supports wpa and wpa2.. i purchased mine from www.tigerdirect .com for about 35$
i hope this helps you

My blueray player sometimes connects

The internet connection between the player and the router in your home is badly configured the router is set on automatic IP addressing and it conflicts with the IP addresing in the player. You must redo it: for that set a fixed IP in both player and router and in the router you must add the player at the accepted MAC addresses.
If you are using a secured wireless connection make sure it's the WPA one.
The procedure on how to do all of that can be found in the manual of the player and router. I can only source you the manual for the player, since i don't know what router are you using

I have an insignia ns brdvd player and it will not

The reviews on this player are that it's a piece of **** and you got ripped off buying it. See if there's a small pinhole near the drawer you can push a straightened paper clip into and manually force the drawer open. Some have it and some don't. Good Luck.

DVD player does not recognize DVD's. Icon "No

Hi,

how long have you been using this player? I suspect the laser (lens) of the player. I think the laser (lens) is weak that's why it cannot read data/files on DVD discs.

To confirm if actually its a laser problem, insert an Audio CD into the player and see if will play. If it plays, then obviously, your laser (lens) is weak. But if it doesn't play Audio CD, then it might still be the laser (lens) or a mechanism problem.

Get a lens cleaner, use it to clean the lens. If that doesn't solve the problem, get a screw driver, open the player's cover so that you can gain access to the lens, use a cotton board to clean the surface of the lens. This should clean dust or dirt that might be on the lens.

If non of the above solves the problem, then know that you need to replace the laser to a brand new one.

To replace the lens, remove the bad laser, use it as a sample to get exactly the same type and do the replacement. Note that replacing a laser (lens) needs a professional touch, so if you cannot replace the laser, get it to a repairman to fix it for you.

Once this us done, your player will play all DVD discs again.

Good luck.

I need a dish network code for my Insignia

Try the steps for a Power Scan below, this is easier than trying multiple codes.
  1. Hold down the clear "TV" button on the remote for four seconds, then press 500 pound ( #)
  2. With the desired equipment on, press and hold the "AUX" button until all mode button backlights illuminate (about 3 seconds), then release.
  3. For AUX mode Power Scan ONLY: press 0 for a TV, press 1 for a VCR/DVD, press 2 for any other device, then press *.
  4. Press and release the Power button.
  5. Press the Up button once a second while pointing the remote at the desired equipment. If the code for the equipment comes up, the equipment will power off.
  6. Press the POUND (#) button. If the code entered is valid for the remote, the mode light flashes three times.
To verify the code works try several different functions for that equipment.

I do not know how to update my blue ray player I

its hard to tell what you need but you can test your ethernet connection by plugging a lap top into it and see if you get interent. If the Blu Ray has quit working entirely (as in won't play disks) then thats a different problem. Since you have only had the device for a short time I would contact first the store where you bought it and they can tell you how to get warranty repair.
