This really annoyed me too, i had the same problem, took me a bit of playing around with it to fix it. Dont take it to teh shop do this.

I solved the problem .. the secret is to take a ear cotton ball and put it into your phone jack and spin it up and down until moisture dirt and dust will be cleaned ... do this until the phone will return to normal ... no service needed ... good luck

The reason your phones touch screen is not working is simply because there is a problem with the flexi of the phone.

If the screen is not damaged in any way, then the assumption of it being the screen is absolutely correct.

To fix the flexi of the phone;

1. Get the appropriate screwdriver,
2. remove the battery, the battery cover, and your sim,
3. Turn the back of the phone,
4. you will see five rubbers,
5. pick them off with a pincher,you will see screws under them, unscrew the phone,
6. Get a credit card and slip it through the line around the phone then apply a little force in separating them apart,
7. you will see the panel of the phone, carefully lift it up,
8. you will see a flexi that runs through the screen to the panel, carefully detach the flexi from the panel,
9. unscrew the screen of the phone, remove the flexi connected to the screen also and replace it.
10. Reverse the process to reassemble the phone.

HelloCheck its battery for full charge. Recharge it fully and retry to send a text. If it behaves the same as before, make sure that the battery is faulty. It has lost its current carrying capacity. OK.

call your carrier they can help you out. Its a quick fix but you may have to wait for them to get to you.

Yo! you need to see the pack of your sim card for your PUK code. it is being provided by your network provider. if you still have difficulties getting it, you will haven't o call the customer care of your service provider to get the PUK code.thanks

To remove LCS screenhttp://www.formymobile.co.uk/bl40disassembly.phpThat's how u remove the LCS Screen. buy the LCS replacement screen fro amazon or eBay, they run for about $25-$30, and there u go, careful that u don't damage any of the circuit boards though, be gentle and don't pull/tugg so hard, try to find magnifying glass and do it under a bright light so u can see everything clearly and make sure u don't loose the screws:)

If just a logo shown on your screen,probably the phone system crashed or corrupt, some reason why this thing happens when the phone memory is too low or almost at full.

I think no free update release by LG unlike "nokia software updater",possible to fix this phone is with the use of gsm gadget and for sure only mobile service center have this to program the firmware and bring back the phones life.
