My camera shows black screen and I cannot see if I was able to take pictures or what. The screen just do not show anything. It's all black. What I can do for this? Any help??? Thanks!

You're right in saying that if you get ANY onscreen message with the computer connected, the LCD and its driver circuits are likely OK. I don't have that exact cybershot, but I have had a few, and most have a menu item to turn off various screen content, including the entire display. Its likely a battery saving feature, but if you turn it on and hit the MENU button and still see nothing, there must be some actual defect. If all else fails, before contacting SONY, take the battery out and wait at least 5 minutes and then replace.

I deleted pictures from my

You have chance to get those pictures back if you take care.

First things first: DO NOT take any more photos with the memory card(within your camera) that you want to recover photos from. Take the card out of your cam and put it in a safe place. Because if you take any more files or save any data to your memory card, you may quite possibly ruin your chances of recovery.

Then Connect the card to your computer as it should appear as a "Removable Drive" or put the card in a card reader attached to your PC.

Next, if you are comfortable with using a PC then you can download a photo recovery utility that will recover your pictures with this software called Wondershare Photo Recovery (I once used this program bounded with some other software) from the following link(the program also recover videos and music files):

Photo Recovery for Windows (if you are running Windows OS)
Photo Recovery for Mac (for Apple Mac OS X)

Remember - Do NOT try & write anything back to your camera(memory card) until you can recover the files safely!

Do you really need a driver? The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries. Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use iPhoto or any other photo management program.

SD and SDHC cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the metal contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card.Memory Sticks have a slide switch on the back, near the contacts. Slide the switch away from the "LOCK" position.

How to fix reinsert memory

Hello.

Remove the SD card then replace it back. If you are still having a problem, format the SD card using the camera. If that still doesn't solve the problem, you need to replace the SD card with a new one.
