Mine is doing the same thing! Any luck with your resolution to it?

The same thing happened to me! and I still dont know what to do!!

try to download the photos on your computer from the card then try to format the card then put it back into your computer. then send your photos that are in your camera internal and send it to your card then download the pics on computer from card then try to put the card back in your camera. if the error still comes back you may have to use a smaller card with less like if you have a 4 g card try using a 2g .

Try these procedures.

Check whether or not you accidentally moved the write protect slider on the edge of the SD card to the "locked" position. If it is, then slide it out of that position.

hello there!i will help with your problem. just follow these steps.1. remove the battery and memcard. 2. put it back and make sure that it properly put.3. connect the cable of the charger and charge it.4. make sure that the charger is properly plug in in the socket and in your digi cam.5. if still not charging, try to charge to other power outlet.if still not working, call a service center or an authorized repair shop and ask them to check your digi cam. there must be a problem inside.thank you for choosing fixya and kindly rate my post.

Select the wrench-hammer-1 icon from the menu, select the speech-bubble icon, then select your desired language.

Its possible that you have some problem with the initialization program files...
* When the installer is stored in the camera's built-in memory:
When the camera is connected to a PC, the device's "auto-run" program (device stage on Windows 7) starts automatically. Click the [ib] icon to start the initial setup/installation program.
If the program does not start automatically, open the folder that represents the removable media drive (using Windows Explorer, My Computer, etc.), then double-click the "SETUP.EXE" icon to start the installer program.

* When the software is supplied on a CD-ROM :
When the CD-ROM is loaded into the PC, the installer program starts automatically and the initial setup/installation screen will appear. If the installer does not start automatically, open the folder that represents the CD-ROM drive and then double-click the "CameraInitialSetup.exe" icon.

Confirm your roght procedure to Transferring pictures from the camera using [ib] and keep in mind that, when you open [ib] on a computer that is connected to the Internet, the program will automatically search for and install the latest version of the software. You can also search by clicking Help on the menu bar and then selecting Update Software.

Additionally, are you plugging the camera into the computer or are you using a card reader of some sort?

Although my brother have ib loaded on your computer it is way to resource hungry and slow for my tastes, Olympus Viewer 2 is much more powerful and faster, although slightly more complex than [ib] and Olympus Master 2. Image transfer with ib even when its working is painfully slow, due to all the background garbage like geo tagging & face tagging it is trying to do. I do not know what your plans are as far as editing but master 2 would still be your easiest choice as far as Olympus software goes.

In order to use a card reader, you must have a card to insert into it. If you've been using the camera without a card, you've been saving the pictures to the camera's internal memory. In order to get at those, you need to copy them to a memory card first. Your owner's manual will explain the procedure.
