Pentax Optio W90 Digital Camera - Page 3 Questions & Answers
Can't import photos to Picassa
Buy a USB card reader take card from camera and use that to import pictures. Sadly I can't help without knowing full details of your equipment, camera, computer operating system, etc.
I have a Pentax Optio E40 and get the message that the built in memory is full. How can I see what is in that memory? Can I delete those pictures to clear the memory?
Yes you can play back the images and/or delete them from the internal memory from the camera. I strongly recommend an SD card in the future. The internal memory can hold a maximum of about 87 pictures at the lowest resolution (2 pictures at the highest resolution). It'll be easiest to view the current pictures without an SD card in place.
To view the pictures, press the playback button (above and to the left of the 4-way arrow buttons) on the back of the camera. Use the left/right buttons in that 4-way area to navigate through the pictures. (You'll start at the last photo.) If you want to start the camera in playback mode, just press and hold the playback button while you turn on the camera.
To delete the picture that you are looking at, press the green/trash button to the right of the Menu button. Then press the up/down arrows to reach Delete and click OK (in the center of the 4-way buttons). (See Page 100 (page 102) of the manual.)
If you press the green button twice, you'll get a prompt to Delete all. That is similarly navigated with the up/down arrows and then OK.
Ricoh owns the Pentax Optio Line and has the manuals here:

I hope this helps.

Camera takes blue photos
You sure you did put the camera to fully automatic? Because I don't know what model you have, I can't check the manual, to see if you could adjust the white balance. It has not much to do with ISO, but with white balance. Sure you did not select something like scene inside. or scene in tungsten?
Camera won't turn on
Try turning it on with the power source connected, if it works it's probably the battery or battery connection, fix or replace the battery.
How do I unlock the card
If you are using an SD card, then there is a little movable piece and the left hand side of the card that can be moved back and forth. there should be a little arrow pointing to which position is the "locked" position. If you push the piece on the side in the opposite direction it should unlock the card.
Charging camera
I think that your batteries may have expired due to old age and are refusing to hold a charge. Ni cad batteries have a shelf life and once that time limit has expired, you need to replace the batteries with new ones which will begin counting down to their expire date and also go dead.once ni cad batteries have expired and past their time limitnothing can be done to revive them ,they are forevermore dead and must be replaced.that is the reason why i buy 120 volt ac drills instead of battery powered drills which are always dead by the time i need to use them and wont hold a charge when i try to recharge them.my cordless radio phone batteries go dead after 1 hour on the phone, when they were newer,i could talk for 4 hours and still have 1/4 charge left. soon they will only last 30 minutes and need a 12 hour recharge to come back to 4 bars.so i expect to have to pay 4 new batteries by christmas. One other option may be that your charger is not working properly and developing the required voltage.that also happens but not as often as dead batteries that wont hold a charge.if you have a radio shack nearby, even if its a 20 mile drivethey can test your batteries and also test your battery charger. just ask for a salesman that has a battery tester and a vom [volt, ohm, milli amp meter] also called a multi meter. The vom will test your charger and came also test your batteries, but most salesmen dont know enough about the vom to use it as a battery tester .PS a battery tester is just a vom scaled down for battery testing only, made easy to use for dummies.
It does not work !
Here are some troubleshooting steps that you can try that may correct your problem. Recommend starting with Fix 1 (new battery). If the camera is out of warranty (or repair cost approaches that of the camera), they're worth a try. Some of the later steps do involve some risk to the camera, so carefully weigh your options before deciding to conduct them:
