Reboot your computer as well as your scanner, also check your data cable if properly connected as well as the power cord of your scanner, else try to uninstall your printer/scanner and reinstall it again. Reboot again and try connecting again. Usually, it is not possible to use your scanner simultaneously while printing.
Why does it copy but doesn't print?
Go to printer diagnostics, check ink levels, try a deep cleaning. Make sure printer is online in the printer control panel. If this is a new printer for you, download the drivers from the manufacturers website.
How do you fix a printhead carrriage jam if you cannot see any obstruction? There is error message on screen but when lifting access door the printhead carriage does not move. I cannot move it manual
I have a Kodak 9200 that did the same thing,it parked the printer head and cartridges to the left under the one place you do not have access to,I always try to fix something that is already broke,I could not get the printer head out so I unplugged the printer and I cut off the plastic cover with a heavy pair of tin snips, then I removed the ink cartridges then I pushed the ink pad at the bottem back, this released the printer head, then I took Q-tips and cleaned the area below and around this area ,I removed an unbelieveable amount of thick sticky ink, clean the sides where the ink pad goes in and out, they stick because of the gummy ink and once clean it should work for a long time,I would recommend this printer if they made this part accessable, once you close the lid the cut out cannot be seen.
My printer keeps saying the paper size is
Sounds like a software issue. If there is a reset button or switch try that. Return to factory settings.

I am assuming that your printer is wirelessly connected to your network.
On the printer,
press HOME, press the downward pointing triangle and select -NETWORK SETTINGS
- press OK.
Press the the downward pointing triangle and select -View Network Configuration
- press ok.
Make sure that your IP address is not all zeros and that your active connection is set to WIFI.
On your computer, open a COMMAND window. (Start - Run - and type CMD). In the command window type - ipconfig and press enter. You will see IP addresses for your PC (the format is x.x.x.x where x can be a number between 0 and 255). At least the first number should be the same as the printers IP address. On a second PC, do the same thing to get it's IP address.
Next, to see if the computer can find the printer, from the command window, type PING x.x.x.x where x.x.x.x is the IP address of the printer (from above). the result will be either "could not find" or a set of results that lists REPLY times. If you dont get a reply time, try to PING the 2nd computer (PING x.x.x.x where x is the IP address of the 2nd computer).
If neither of these gives you a reply, it sounds like AVAST may not be configured to 'trust' devices on your home network. Check you documentation on how to add a trusted network to AVAST. Generally, you will have an option to add a list of IP addresses that are 'trusted'. For instance, if your printer is 192.168.1.4, and your PC is 192.168.1.2, it would be safe to add a trusted range of 192.168.1.0 - 192.168.1.255
