This is a hard drive failure go into the service mode and run u906 to try and reset it if it fails to reset you wil need to replace the hdrive

your du-61 duplex unit is faulty or not installed correctly check the harness and gates if all this is ok its the engine pwb has failed

sounds like the scanner is still locked so it dosnt scan the image giving u blank copies or black copies
