The error means - Abnormally high fixing unit thermistor temperature.

Can be caused by Shorted thermistor or Broken heater control circuit on the power supply board.

how to fix error c6020...1st step is go get a gasoline and a match and then pour the gasoline to the kyocera and then lit it with your match stick...it will automatically restart..for more details contact your kyocera supplier.

El codigo C6020 significa que hubo sobrecalentamiento en el Fuser. Si Ud. es tecnico en copiadoras, cheque la resistencia del THMS, ien caso de ser 0 ohms, reemplace. De otro modo, puede que la fuente de poder esté dañada. despues de hacer reemplazo de piezas, resetee la copiadora con el codigo U163.

En caso de no tener idea de que estoy hablando, le recomiendo solicitar servicio tecnico para la computadora ya que es un problema serio en el equipo.

A C3200 is as follows:

Exposure Lamp Problem.

• In indicator check before starting copying, the average value in scanning of the shading plate with the CCD is 128 or more.

Solution:

Defective scanner board (KP-5063).
Replace the scanner board (KP-5063) and check for correct operation

Defective exposure lamp or inverter board.
Replace the exposure lamp or inverter board.

Incorrect shading position.
Adjust the position of the contact glass (shading plate). If the problem still occurs, replace the scanner home position sensor.

Poor contact of the connector terminals.
Check the connection of connector YC7 on the scanner board (KP-5063), and the continuity across the connector terminals. Repair or replace if necessary.

More than likely it is the Exposure Lamp.

Typicaly the scanner optics would need to be cleaned. Or it could be a scan lamp failure. A Kyocera dealer could help you with this.

I have The Km C2520 with the same C6020 code. Is the solution the same?
