scanner card has to be installed in device. scanner file utility has to be use. Or card will have to configured to your network, scan to pc, scan to email, etc

the 30/40/5035 series machines have two network cards in them. One for printing and one for scanning. and they have separate IP numbers also. make sure you have scanfile utility running on your pc or wherever you are sending the files and the folder set up in the utility. then set it up on the scanner network card.. Not the printer.

Make sure the connector cable from the finisher is plugged into the copier. Unplug the copier power cord first if you have to reconnect it.
