This is a fixing unit error. If you have had a power outage or your power has flickered it maybe able to be reset with out parts. Go to www.gfbm.net and call thier number and they should be able to reset it over the phone at no charge.

go to this website, www.copystar.com. kyocera and copystar are the same machines, same drivers, and download the version 7 driver.

try formatting the hard disk.(hit the black system counter button..

also go into service mode by hitting 10871087..(than search for initialize memory..

Try an updated driver from the manufacturer or see if they have any know issues with 2003 sp2 and the driver.

The 2050 uses 2 network connections, one for the printer and one for the scanner.
Before I go into any great detail,
Do you have a home network? Are you using a switch?
Are you printing through the network connection or the USB/parallel port?
Are you trying to twain scan? Do you have the software CD for scanning.
If not, you will need to download the drivers from the Kyocera web site.

check your transfer roller when removing the jam you broke the holder on the transfer roller and the contact spring fell out, no repair has to be replaced

if you go into copy mode punch in 1087 1087 
press the green start button
punch in 906
press the green button 
select the option on the touch screen
press the green button
and wait until the machine reboots
this should fix any minor problems

I would check the usb connection cable - maybe try a different one. 'off line' normally means that the computer can't communicate with the printer. Silly thing - check that the printer has power. I'm not trying to insult your intelligence, but sometimes it's the simple things that get missed.

I had the same problem. I would turn the machine off/on and it would work for another 5min. I tried everything I could. I swapped with another machine and it still screwed up, so I knew it had to be the card.
I wound up buying a used card from Greater Phildelphia.
They sell from machines that come off lease. 215-788-7111

This error code means that the dim is at fault or requires re-seating into the machine.
