Wwhich fuse do use for ion turntable
Your vacuum cleaner is 13 amps, so your turntable is 3 amps. There are two glass fuse sizes, so take fuse to Radio Shack - it could be a metric 5mm x 20mm or a 1/4" x 1-1/4" glass fuse. Regards.

Input level too high can't seem to make lower
Have you tried the setting in your computer for sound sources. Some have audio level controls. If you still can't get it low I would use pot, wire it accros the audio output from the deck then to the source.
I'm adding an image of a stereo potentiometer below which also shows how to connect it. You can get a box to mount it and some rca sockets to connect the two devices. You just need a knob. You then just turn the knob to get the right level.

I've just bought a used
It will need earthing if you are getting hum. As it is used I would replace the entire cartridge and stylus with the best you can afford. Make certain you wire it up right. A good test is with the cartridge removed and your amp on, is to touch each wire (one at a time) with your finger. You should hear a buzz on two wires (one left one right) and nothing on the other two wires (earths). This will help you get the new one connected right.

My turntable appears to be uneven. it looks like a rolling hill when spinning, can this be fixed
Is it just the matt that records sit on that's the problem or the whole platter?
If it is the matt you can peel it off and get a new one from somewhere such as as Amazon. It doesn't have to be the same brand as the turntable as long as it fits on.
Just search for "turntable matt".
If the platter is the problem it might be caused if the platter is plastic by either a chemical or heat warping the platter. Has it been exposed to the sun for example? Some chemicals such as oil and polish can cause it to bend out of shape.
It's likely if the platter has warped that it will need to be replaced.
