The lid has a double tab...see underside of the top of the lid. Place the lid on tightly with both tabs locked into bowls handle. It really clicks in.

It could be two things. The carbon brushes to the motor need replacing. or The motor capacitor is failing. If your motor is running Slow or just Humming and not going round, it could be the capacitor, this can be caused by running in a damp atmosphere or continuous use ie commercial.

Hi, If you reach the top of the lid, there might be engraved instructions on how to remote the lid. Sometimes you just need to twist it counterclockwise before pulling out the lid. If you still have issues after doing these things, please refer to the product manual via the table of contents to see instructions for removing the lid. Thank you.

Firstly, press the STOP button. Then turn the lid in a clockwise direction and lift-off. Carefully remove the blade and inner bowl/bowls (depending on what combination you are using). Finally turn the main bowl clockwise to unlock it from the motor unit and lift off.

you did not described the screw or model of your machine, most of them use "secure" screw system of various shape, you need to check what shape is your particular screw and then go to closest hardware store and buy set containing that particular screw, magimix use mostly torx screws, but you need to check as this vary from country to country... just to make our life more difficult...

My Magimix moved around. After I took the dough out, I found a date stone was stuck on one end of the blade. I think that was the reason for the machine moving around and being noisy.
