Trps the breaker as soon as switched on
Check the wire for any cuts, burns or kinks. You may have a short in the wire or inside the toaster (two wires are touching or arcing causing the breaker to trip).

All you need is to match the voltage and frequencies. So you need to check if the toaster is 220'240V and 50hz. If not it is better to sale it back on ebay and buy the same model with above voltage. In order to make it compatible you will need a transformer and the cost for the transformers is depends on the watt and for 2000W it will cost 120-140 $

Hi, Have someone with a bit of mechanical knoledge to put some fine oil under the timer knob. This will free up the timer. Good luck 2 in 1 oil will do.

No heat when turned on
We had the same problem. I took off the bottom plate, cleaned the toaster, reseated all of the connectors on the heating plates, timer, and switch, and the toaster started working again. Only one connector was slightly loose (but it was still connected with decent contact). I am not sure what fixed it. If that did not work, my next step was to purchase replacement parts online and swap out the switch, timer, and heating plates (in that order). We have an older model than yours, but I suspect that the parts are similar. The parts all look very easy to replace. These units are intended to be repaired and not replaced.
