My Nordic track T5 zi only beeps 3 or 4 times no

Take another look at the answer above by spamslisher. This was exactly the problem I had. The control panel gave four quick beeps every ten seconds and the treadmill would not start or respond at all. The problem was a stuck button on the control head. That diagnosis was thanks to the tip from spamslisher above. I tried all the keys until I found one that didn't beep. That was the stuck key. In my case it turned out to be the down arrow on the ifit row, same as for spamslisher. After opening up my control panel it was easy to see how to disconnect the ifit control board from the main board. I did that and my problem was solved. Like spamslisher, we never use the ifit feature anyway so nothing lost there. Thanks for the really helpful tip. I doubt I'd have figured it out without you.
