I have a problem with my reebok i walk i run treadmill. The belt does not move on the lower speeds and after using it there is a burning smell even though it is working fine once I get past the first two speeds. I have had it 2 years but have never oiled it as I am not sure how and where.

Your treadmill may not be turning on due to a broken or a failed power supply or a broken power cord or a tripped circuit breaker switch a failed circuit breaker switch a bad power switch or wiring failure or a bad motor control board or failed console display screen can stop the treadmill from turning on. If the outlet is not working try to reset the house circuit breaker which is located inside of the fuse box to restore power to the outlet.

Loosen, but do not completely remove the idler bolts (on the back where you get on). Remove the side rail and motor hood (left side usually). While turning the drive roller by hand, pull on the inside of the belt in order to walk it off of the drive roller pully. Remove the belt and put the new one in.

Loose or broken parts under the motor hood of your treadmill can cause the machine to not start. If the console lights up, but the treadmill won't start, the motor controller could be damaged. Loose wires under the motor hood or in the console can cause your treadmill not to start.

This is a tedious process. Leave one of the adjusters where it is and adjust the other side until the belt starts to move to the center. This has to be done with the treadmill moving the belt so that the belt can move into position. Once the belt is in a central position, then you turn the adjustment screws one half of a turn on each one until the belt is tight enough.

Hi, it may be stuck, try and force move the belt safely. if it moves turn it on again and try to start it, Be sure it has power and using the correct cables, make sure the security key is in it, make sure its setup properly without obstruction. Good Luck Mr.Mike
