Usually marks inside of jewelry is the makers mark.

All of the George's line will match as long as it is the color is labeled "black." They use the same color black for all of their products. There are slight variation but then the product is labeled "heather grey" or "charcoal." Look at where the blue part meets the black and white. If there a clips press on both side to release it from the black part. If there are not any clips pull gently to see where the clips can possibly be detached

IT'S NOT A STAIN, looks like you bleached the color out by accident, lots of things other than bleach will take the color out of fabrics.

This needs to be wiped clean. Don't put it in the washing machine.
