Hello,
if this is a DLP projector then the light tunnel needs to be adjusted or replaced or the colorwheel index needs to be adjusted if what you are describing is ghosting of sorts.
If this is an LCD projector your green lcd panel could be burnt, or you could have true ghosting that needs to be adjusted with the options in the hidden menu and should only be done by someone who knows what they are doing.
Good luck

Trying to hook up PS3 to this projector.
Try a couple different things. First, ignore the Red/White for now
since it's audio and you're having issues with the video.
Try running the yellow from your pj to another source other than the
PS3. If you still have no video then you know it's a pj setting. If
you do get video then you know it's a PS3 setting.
Then maybe try another cable or adjust your PS3 settings
If that projector is not HD, then
Don't buy that projector, it's not HD. It may support 720p and 1080i
input, but the output is 800x600.
If you're willing to shell a
little more for HD, buy the Optoma HD70, a true 720p projector. It has a
connector of each type on the back (Composite, Component, SuperV, VGA
and HDMI), all that for less than 1000$
My 360 is connected to
one, and the picture quality is beyond awsome on my 120" screen. It
should be the same with your PS3.
