Only starting display backlight When I press the power button on my Yamaha PSR E413 keyboard
When you turn on your keyboard it carries out a self check to make sure all is OK, if not the start up procedure stops
It could be a fault on the mainboard, the rubber switched do wear but as the light is coming on it would indicate this is working
Try a master reset : whilst switched off, hold down the highest note (Top C) and whilst holding down turn on, after a few seconds if this is successful then the display will show up, this function resets to factory setup
If this fails you will need to investigae board connections etc inside the keyboard
Good luck

How can I repair np-11 wont sound
Hi, The reason for no sound could be many things.
Do you have power to the keyboard ( Red light, display lit up ? ) If not could be power supply or power input socket ( these fail and need repairing frequently on older models )
If you have power then check nothing stuck in headphone socket as this would stop sound.
If nothing stuck in headphones, does it work on headphones. If it does it is probably the amplifier that has stopped working.
If you can provide more specific I may be able to help further.

Model PSR-s750. Why does it only display Yamaha logo?
There is power from the power supply if the logo is on the screen, although it could be it isnt providing full current.
Whilst the logo is displayed the machine carries out a number of checks to ensure it is working correctly. Once these checks are completed it moves to showing the voices etc. If it hangs it has found a fault and further investigation will be required.

Yamaha p85 turns on but there is no sound
My Yamaha P85 had a no sound problem too. I replaced the two 100uf capacitors at locations C216 and C217 on the board where the DC power plug connects. Fixed it right up.
