Several hours of usage ,it will be magnetize because of heat transfer within the coil. The result it is hard to even open the cd rack or tray.Sometimes it gets ok when rest for several hours but it does go back to its original condition.HAVE IT REPAIRED AND THIS LEAD IS QUIET EXPENSIVE.

My numark cd mix2
Hallo! This is caused by the laser fault. First unplug the cord, high voltage!!! Disassemble the device, look under the cd place you will see a little lense. Clean it VERY DELICATE with a piece of cottonwool with alcohol, can clean it twice with alcohol and then with a dry one. If doesn't help, then need to replace the laser reader system with a new one, it's that where the lense is placed, it must have on it an badge with the serial number, you can search it by that number/code.

Hi,
I purchased the Numark Twin
when
cd is not reading or no disk error, that points to a faulty drive. could be that the cd drive lens needs cleaning or at the worst, the whole drive needs replacement. first try to use a cd cleaner but if problem persists, change that drive.
thanks for using fixya

Yes how to set up
There are two balanced outputs from the mixer as well as two RCA outputs (right & left). The simplest connection would be to run RCA cables from the RCA mixer output to the auxiliary input on an amp.
If you want to use the balanced outputs from the mixer, you will need adapters (or cables with correct plugs) to go from balanced conectors to RCA or 1/4 " inputs on the amp.
More info, let me know.

One of the trays on my CD2 will not open. There is
The safe way is to remove the cover. SOMETIMES the problem is a little rubber belt that drives the tray carriage loses traction. To protect the disk, remove the cover and investigate the problem and manually remove the disk.

Im trying to hook up two sets of passive speaker,
you should be fine, you can get splitters, little adapters to split the input cables into 2, so that you can use one ouytput to run 2 channels. just hook up the output cables to the output on the numark, and use the splitter adapter to split the sound between the 2 amps.

How to set it up to an amp
You would need 1 set of stereo audio cables to connect from this to the amp. It is impossible for us to guess at what amp you are using to know what connections are on it. Where possible you should use XLR types or TRS balanvced types. Somnetimes all that are available are RCA jacks.

How do is fix my Numark m6 bleeding cross fader
/it's most likely a defective fader, but before replacing it, get a can of Deoxit5 or fader cleaner and spray inside the fader, then move it the full length os travel about 20 times to see it that clears it up.

Anybody you know who restore
Most turntables require a new drive belt. The cartridge sometimes needs replacing. Cahngers require much more maintenance. Hardly anybody does this anymore... but if belt has deteriorated, that is DIY as you can find suppliers of the belt online.

No or very little sound from Fender passport
Depending on the model, there are four around that date, it could be the insert jacks are tarnished reducing the signal flow between the pre amp stage and digital power amplifier. It could be the power amplifier has failed. It could even be customer error in wiring.
This assumes there is the correct level of signal entering the input sockets of course.
