I beleive you are mis-reading the model number rather than the serial number. I beleive what you are meaning to say is ES125TD, which is a Gibson model. The serial number will either be written on the label you saw this number on or on the rear of the headstock. If you email pics and whatever other info you have to [email protected] they can identify it for you.

what does the back of the headstock say is the # stamped into the headstock or a decal does it say made in the U.S.A.underneath the serial # like this the first line 536193 second line made in third line U.S.A. if so then it is a 1969

You'll have to contact Gibson for that directly, they keep those numbers fairly secret so only they know the real ones.

check the screening (earth) which is the wires braiding and the actual cable you plug in to your gtr. also could be a problem with the gtr. or amp. socket itself. Some times connections corrode or break.

The most likely case is that one of the main output transistors (if which there are many) is shorted. When the protect circuit senses DC on the final output, it will not allow the output relay to come on to protect the speakers from raw DC. With the power removed, you can check between each outputs Emitter and Collector and you will probably find close to zero ohms. From that point you need to unsolder each of the pins of the bad channel until you find the shorted device(s) and replace them.
