How change strings gibson guitar?
One of the best was to keeping your guitar in tune, is to also string it correctly and use new strings . Make sure the first winding of a new string around the tuner post goes over the exposed tip of the new string. The rest of the windings go under the exposed tip of the string. This will keep the string clamped firmly in place. Use 4-5 turns around the post for unwound strings, 2-3 for wound strings, in a downward spiral towards the bottom of the post as shown in the photo.-Tom, 30yr player.

How to lower the action on a les paul safely
The bridge should be on two posts, both of them with knurling on the edge. These screw into the body of the guitar, allowing you to raise or lower the action of the strings. Turn them clockwise to lower the action, making sure to turn them the same amount, so as to keep the strings even. You WILL have to re-adjust intonation after this.
Hope that helps! Btw, I’m available to help over the phone in case u need at

You have a grounding problem. Verify your cable is good first, then open the guitar and look for broken wires. The electronic parts sit in a cavity that SHOULD be lined with CONDUCTIVE paint that acts as a shield and should have an electrical connection. You will likely find ground wires soldered to the back of the control pot cases. If you find a wire broken loose you have found the cause. There is usually a wire to the ground system from the metal parts.
