Bosch 11316evs Elec Vs Sdsmax Demolition Hammer Questions & Answers
Bosch demolition hammer bearings are ceased up, how can I remove it properly to replace?
Ok here goes. Purchase or use the bearing cover nut 3613461500 that you have taken from the base of the machine. and drill a 6mm hole in it. remove the armature from the machine and measure how far the end of the armature sticks out of the bearing. then fit the cover nut onto the bearing holder and whilst supporting the cover nut use a puller or press to press the armature off the bearing through the cover nut. Replace the bearing in the holder and press the bearing and holder back onto the armature until the amount of armature shaft showing is to the same distance that measured in the first place. Hope this helps.

If your motor is working but you aren't getting the hammer action you likely have a broken connecting rod (PN 1612001033). Everything in the impact mechanism housing is made of hardened steel except the con-rod, it's plastic and notorious for breaking. If you go into the mechanism to verify the part is broken keep track of where and how everything goes together, there are a lot of parts in there. If you go to
http://www.ereplacementparts.com/ and search for your model number you will get a good breakdown of your demo hammer, the con-rod is item #70. You can order parts from them or use the part number to search the web.
Bosch 11316EVS demolition Hammer soft start not
Variable speed control module has failed, however you can still use the tool. Hammering action will improve with a good cleaning of internal parts and apply new grease. Hammering action is caused by air/vacuum cushion between drive piston and driven piston which inturn hits a third piston that actually impacts the bit. If third piston is worn, chipped and lodged with debris, there will be light hammering action. After use, store the hammer with the nose pointing down so that the driven piston will slide to end of cylinder and ready for next use.
