WE CAN NOT USE OUR CASIO KEYBOARD NOR FIND A POWERCORD #AD12ULWK1630 anywhere

Hi, This is a copy and paste from a similar question, please excuse my laziness........ Hi, There are several common reasons why this and most similar keyboards have this problem. If you can fit known good batteries, and it works, this confirms the problems will be with the external power supply or connection. Usually batteries are not available, so....... Do the obvious.
  1. Is the power supply plugged into a known good mains socket?
  2. is the mains socket switched on?
  3. is the power supply plugged into the keyboard?
  4. is the keyboard switched on?
If the power supply is not the one supplied with the keyboard, then check it is compatible. (You do not have to buy an expensive replacement power supply, a universal, regulated one, with a selection of connectors will be fine. Supermarkets and the like sell them.) The manual, or a label on the bottom of the keyboard will tell you the voltage, current consumption, and whether the current is AC or DC. Invariably the current is DC. All the Casios I have are 9 Volts, (9V) and very few are more than 300 milli amps (300mA) More milli amps is fine, so the current can be the same or greater. A TYPICAL power supply is likely to be:-
  • 9 V
  • 300 mA or more
  • DC
BUT DO CHECK Important The power supply needs to be REGULATED. Polarity This is the way round the connector is wired. Usually the center is negative (-) and the barrel is positive (+) This information is molded into the plastic or on a label next to the socket. On a replacement (universal) power supply, there will be a set of connectors, and when you have selected the correct one, the arrow on the end of the lead should point to the correct polarity symbol on the connector. Fault finding The most common fault is the power connector being broken or the solder has been broken. Slowly moving the connector round, to find it works in some positions, is a sure indication that is the fault. Repair is quite simple, but there are a lot of screws to take out. Ideally, drill a hole in the case, where convenient, and fit a metal connector. Now connect to the PCB, in place of the original socket, with flexible wires. Other wise if it is just solder failure, re solder and glue the socket with epoxy resin (Araldite) or hot glue from a glue gun. Hope this helps, Chris.

I lost my adapter to my keyboard and I need to

Some Casio Keyboards use 9V DC (center negative) others 12V DC (center negative). If check what voltage your Keyboard use. Generic AC adapters are usually center positive. So you have to invert the wire with a new DC plug to make it center negative, Easiest is to buy a Casio ac adapter made for your keyboard from a Casio retailer.

I have one key out

In a word, NO. We have no idea which keyboard you have. If the pitch is off that is HIGHLY unlikely. A common problem however is a dirty key contact causing a note to be very loud as if hit hard and fast. The contacts are conductive rubber and require disassembly and cleaaning the rubber pills and the circuit traces they contact with ONLY 99% isoprophyl alcohol and Q tips. There are two per key to measure velocity.

My adaptor use to work fine now it wont work I

You can get that fixed if you can find someone who can solder. The jacks wear out over time on a lot of things. The jacks themselves are worth about $1 but it is the labour to open the case and solder a new one in.

The contacts in the jacks are spring loaded so these can wear or get damaged etc. So eventually they won;t make good contact and you get your problem. You see this a lot on laptops. You can twist or apply pressure on the plug until you get it to power up. This is more luck than anything when it works and eventually it will get to a point where it won;t connect anymore. This really is a simple repair but finding someone to solder the new jack in is the problem.

Casio Privia Px-110 digital piano won't turn on. I have tried replacing the AC adaptor but still nothing.

You should not be replacing an adapter on a guess. That could be checked in 15 seconds with a digital multimeter. Your issue is likely a dislodged connector inside. Remove connectors and then reconnect. ..

I have a casio x700 when using the fingerd options it stills plays the chord by pressing only one key.

Greetings, It sounds like you've pre-programmed a certain sound that is usually only triggered by multiple keys into one key. The most efficient way to return to the way that you're searching for might be to perform a factory reset on your device. But you should back up any data into a USB stick before you perform the reset as all data in the Casio device will be reset. Thank you.

(Wk-200) Volume wheel spinning all the way around and not stopping at "min" or "max"

If the volume wheel on your Casio WK-200 keyboard is spinning all the way around and not stopping at the "min" or "max" positions, it is likely that the potentiometer that controls the volume has become faulty or damaged. A potentiometer, or pot for short, is a type of variable resistor that is commonly used to control the volume on electronic devices. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:
  1. Power off your keyboard and unplug it from the power source.
  2. Remove any batteries from the battery compartment.
  3. Locate the volume potentiometer inside the keyboard. It should be near the volume wheel and will have three pins or legs.
  4. Check the potentiometer for any visible signs of damage, such as cracks or broken pins.
  5. Gently wiggle the volume wheel while observing the potentiometer. If it appears to be loose or wobbly, it may need to be replaced.
  6. If you have experience with electronics and soldering, you may be able to replace the potentiometer yourself. Otherwise, it is recommended that you take your keyboard to a qualified service technician for repair.
If the issue persists after attempting these troubleshooting steps, it is likely that the potentiometer needs to be replaced. In any case, it is best to seek the assistance of a professional technician to avoid causing further damage to your keyboard.

Casio tone bank m120 no power,ic AN8054 has been blown off any substitute for ic is available please let me know

The AN8054 is an integrated circuit used in the Casio Tone Bank M120 keyboard. If it has been blown off, you will need to replace it. An equivalent replacement for the AN8054 is the LM358N, which is a dual operational amplifier that can be used as a substitute. Other equivalent options you can consider include the LM741, LM7808, and LM324. It's always recommended to check the datasheet of the substitute IC to ensure it meets the specifications and requirements of the original IC.
