did you replace orginal HP cartridge? if you are change refill or any other kind of manufature cartridge , there is chip is not working properly, that's why ligh is blinking, use orginal HP toner or good quality brand

In the settings menu there should be a economy mode. Change to that mode.

Un install the drivers. Connect through usb cable observe system recognised the printer?.. if recognised, reload the drivers & chk for the prints.. if not issue with formatter.. Insert net work patch cable., print configuration page., verify the ip address., load the drivers as network printer., chk for the prints., if not printing., ping ip from system... chk withnamother cable.., fotmatter issue..

bad toner; bad fuser; something on transfer roller.

first check printer IP & then ping it & assign to printer then it will work, if not swipe the formatter board then check.

In internet explore bar type the IP of the printer ,u will EWS go the printing source, make it none.

Through drivers you wont get the mirror image, but if you install thir party software such as pagemaker etc... your will get it..

Verify that the network station cable (the one connected to the P1606DN printer) is good and that the connection to the network is good. You can do using a number of methods. But, if you have a portable computer, the simplest method is to disconnect the cable from the P1606DN, connect it to your computer (make sure the wireless on your computer is turned off), and verify that you can connect to your network. If not, you have a cable/network problem. Otherwise, try resetting your P1606DN printer to its factory defaults: 1. Turn off the printer 2. Turn the printer back on, and while it is initializing press and hold both control-panel buttons at the same time until all the lights blink in unison. Then put your static IP address back on the printer and hopefully you can now connect. If not, can you ping it from a workstation? If not, the network adapter circuitry in the printer may have failed.

the cartridge in this machine has a chip on it but it should still print if you get a toner low message. the chip counts pages not amount used to print so if you are doing light print jobs it does not no it only counts the cycles
