Left lower front open door small near the floor, pull out used toner cart.

Error Code SC322:
1st laser synchronization error

The 1st laser synchronization signal cannot be detected by the main scan synchronization detector board even if the laser diodes are activated.

Possible Causes:
+ Poor I/F harness connection between the laser synchronization detector board and the LD unit.
+ Laser synchronization detector board out of position and angle of reflection not correct
+ Laser synchronization detector board defective LD unit defective

Not sure what your expertise is on this, but unless you know how to service the machine yourself, this one is going to require a service call...

There have been instances where toner drops onto the LD Unit and creates problems like this. About a month ago I replaced the Laser Synch. Detector Board in a 1045 for this exact problem and error code.

I'd start by cleaning up any toner on the LD unit, and re-seating all the electrical connectors on the laser unit. If that doesn't clear things up, it's probably one of two things, the LD Unit or the Synch. Board. I'd lean more towards the Synch. Board myself, but you never know...

Connect the machine to a router or a switch with a network cable. In used mode, under network settings - set the machine to DHCP, so it will get an IP adress from the switch/router. Print out a network status page, and see if you've got an IP adress. In the command window on your PC type: ipconfig/all and see the IP adress of your computer. Compare it to the adress the machine got from the router/switch and see if they are almost identical apart from the last digits. Install the driver, and install the printer using device name, and you should be good to go. Or you can set the IP you got from the switch/router as a static adress, and install the copier using the IP adress.

sometimes the plastic of the laser is turned by the heat proves to relax and to fit the screw that holds the laser unit that is of the side of the drum while it raises a millimeter with a screwdriver, this sometimes works.
Verifies that the glasses and mirrors well be positioned correctly.

Turn Machine off then on. If it doesnt work press on keypad [*107 Clear] then press System SP. then turn Off the On.

could be bad developer powder or is depleted in developer unit. toner density sensor is bad. connector in back were unit slides in broken. this code means not seeing developer unit not install in copier. could be bad board. this copier is old i would replace for a newer one if you can do this.

press the orange key for say three times and press '107' and place your hand on the 'clear/stop' key for about thrre times . themachine will take you tothe system sp . turn off the machine and tuen it on after about A MINUTE . THANS

Never heard of this happening to five machines before.  Check the connections in the laser unit.

sc 121 is related to optics section of your machine.check the lamp is glowing .if so check the connection from optics to main board.

hi this error happened when : Incorrect Function DIMM installed in Slot #2 on Controller PCB. (Slot #2 is for PostScript Option only) so you can: Reload System Firmware. Replace Controller PCB for fix that.

change the td sensor below the developer unit or if possibly change the complete developer unit

The TD sensor could be bad. But more than likely you need to replace the dev material and the drum and charge roller

unplug machine , open the front door there should be a 1/4 inch by 1 inch 'window' showing numbers this is the copy count, on the backside of counter there is a small plug that is not plugged in - plug it into the counter, , plug copier back in back in and code should be gone

replace fuser web.

you need parts 1 A8592241 and 1 A8061295 this is the feed belt and sep roller
