sc982 is usually an error with the NV-RAM (non-volatile RAM). Have you recently replaced the NV-RAM? If so, it probably just isn't sitting right on the board.

Have you tried turning the machine off (with the main power switch) and turning it back on? If the error reappears, you likely have a problem with your NV-RAM and it will need to be replaced.

Sorry for the bad news, but hopefully this information will help.

May I ask why you removed the collator? I think there is something in the advanced service menu that will get past this and allow the machine to go to "ready" mode, but I am not certain. Trying to find that now.

E547 error code indicates ...Fuser lamp won't shut off . Clean the thermofuse and thermistors,check the heater lamp.After ,enter in the service mode turn the power switch OFF unplugged the crd.Wait 10 sec. plugg the cords and turn ON the machine.I think the Savin is based the Ricoh copiers machine.The service enter code is : Press the toral clear key - 1 - 0 - 7 -hold down the C key more 3 sec.

Please describe your problem.You make one copies and not god?

There should be another set of numbers after the e4 flashes. E4 indicates a problem with the transfer belt assembly,main drive assy or the drum thermistor. I'm afraid you will need a tech to figure this one out.

it relates to the fuser unit

check the thermostat and thermister on your copier

you will need to change them

1st try the adjustment knob on left side of control panel. still nothing it could be a bad lcd screen or power board to the lcd screen

E547 is a level A code (need to do a fuser SP reset, copier is inop) the fuser lamp continuosly stays on. Probably a shorted triac or fuser board problem.

When the copier detects the E507 condition, "E-5" is displayed in the copy counter. Hold down the "·" key, and "07" is displayed in the copy counter.

Sir try this when making duplex invert the original the top part of your original be place at the bottom part

please press (.) so we could see the last two number. but most probably check your exposure lamp and thermistor. maybe they are busted anf need to be replaced.

pls press dot (.) to be able to find out the last two digit that will appear on the counter.

The E 1 code is the exposure malfunction code.Please verify the exposure lamp continuity and the components(thermistor,thermofuse) continuity conditions.Reset the malfunction code to open and close the front door.

Clean the optic parts componenets(mirrors,lens,lamp),the charge corona wire and unit amd change the value the auto image density or change the OPC drum.

The number of copies is indicated to mechanical counter and the electronic counter press SP modes and counter select.

E5 code refer to fuser unit.To dfisplay both digits press the Enter.
E 52 Fusing error 1 Defective thermistor,heater lamp open,defective main or ac/dc drive board.
E 53 Fusing error 2 thermistor in shortcircuit,fusing harness shorted or ac/dc power supply board defective.
E 54 fusing error 3 main board or ac/dc board defective.
E 55 Fusing error 4 rhermistor open,defective main board or fusing lamp open.
When E5 service call condition occur for safety reasons they cannot be cleared by turn OFF/ON the power switch.After repairing the copier turn ON the main switch.Enter in the SP mode and press 97.Turn the main switch OFF wait 10 sec and turn ON.

It means that the hard drive is gone bad,and it needs to be replaced.

E940 - Main Switch Error

The detection mechanism is as follows:
· The machine reaches the auto-off time.
· The solenoid mounted inside the main switch turns on for 3 seconds.
· If the main switch does not turn off, the solenoid is turned off for 1
seconds.
· The solenoid is once again turned on for 3 seconds.
· If the main switch does not turn off at this point, the solenoid turns off
and E940 lights.
Possible Causes -
The main switch is defective.
The main control board is defective.
1. Turn on the main switch.
2. Enter SP5-810 (SC code reset) and press the Enter key.
3. Exit SP mode and turn the main switch off and on.
